It's not always about showing it's about knowing. How can we show without knowing? In life we sometimes expect things to happen right away at certain times. Everything takes time at its right time. You can't just show without knowing yourself; what you know defines who your true self is. Sometimes it comes to moments where we really want to show and impress others that's actually not trying to be a good example it's you impressing one another instead of helping one another. It's better to know yourself first then showing yourself towards others. It shows you being a good example and a leader. You never who needs you the most when you are your true self and how much encourage they need from you during those moments. Show your true self what God created in you. You're a work of art, you're his masterpiece. We're his clay and he's our potter. He's always shaping us by growing day by day to becoming better and stronger. Your worth more than anything that this world can offer, that's how much you're worthy to him. Keep inspiring one another. Be the change that this world needs. ✨
Salmos 21:1-13 RVR1960 💜☝️

In light of the Facebook era, many of us find ourselves in the plight of depression and burnout indicated by and directly linked to the compare and contrast game we find ourselves captive of by our social media. The reactions we have when we compare others highlights with our internal bloopers can be incredibly crippling when we anchor our self worth in our #mood, environment, performance and people. However, the beauty of the gospel is that we are enabled to overcome our environment and circumstance and to truly flourish by the voice that calls us the beloved. 🙌✝️❤️
Not a morning person?
There is something to be said about the crisp newness and the hope of the beginning of a new day and I’m thankful that @thepioneerwoman shared this breathtaking photo of her ranch in the early hours of the morning.
Thankful that each day we are gifted with holds something new and we can sweetly bid each night farewell.
When the night is holding onto you, remember that joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)
Behold I make all things new!” | Revelation 21:5
"Everybody needs some TLC. If you are a native English speaker, that usually means Tender Loving Care. But today I would like to help you think about Trust, Language and Culture. These are the areas we need to consider as we reach out to others with the message of the gospel." This is how I introduce a cross-cultural evangelism training session. It’s a course designed to equip church members to serve cross-culturally whether they serve food in an international café or run summer outreach teams in Belfast, Dublin or Cork.
I begin by greeting the group in turn. A handshake. Another handshake. I hug the third person. Then kisses on the cheek. By now people don’t know what to expect. Finally a Japanese bow from the waist. ‘So how did you feel?’ I ask. ‘Fine’ ‘Awkward’, ‘I didn’t know what to do’. Greetings set the tone for a relationship. Whilst some (kisses on the cheek) tend to communicate warmth and intimacy, the British handshake conveys equality instead. For most Asian cultures, greetings communicate respect and distance. When equipping teams to reach East Asians I go on to explain the primary need to establish trust, through genuine friendship, rather than going straight in with the gospel.

For some reason My life has guided me to look at my life with different perspectives, life has made me a very understanding and compassionate person, and I think the biggest limitation a person has to get over, is the fact that they look at life with such a negative perspective, and our minds are so powerful that they attract us people, places and situations that matches our thoughts, think negative and you will see more negative , trust me it never ends, I used to be in that position of just spreading negativity either to myself or to others, and at some point you have to be tired of living like other people and realize that if I am getting what I focus my attention on, Might as well practice the perspective of optimism and positivity and see what happens, well for the last 3 years that’s what I’ve done, getting better and better, and anybody that knows me , knows that my positivity in infectious and everyone around me can see all the beautiful things I am attracting in my life as well, so many people look up to Jesus , or Buddha or any other saints from the past, but how many really follow their advice and actually put it to work in their lives? #Jesus#buddha#grow#love#life#soul#spirit#energy#grateful#perspective#compassion#understanding#loving#evolution#positivevibes#positivity#optimism#lessons#patience#saints#attract#attraction#lawofattraction#icreatemyreality#nolimitations#newday#newyou

At Life Community, we want to be a church full of people who share burdens and pray together. As our children develop friendships around our church, we're seeing the beginning of these things in their lives!
The Lord is on your side. Even in the busyness, He sustains. He shields. And He restores. How has God been "shielding" you lately? Let us know in the comments below! And join us in praying Psalm 3.
"But You, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
I call out to You Lord,
and You answer me from Your holy mountain.
I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because You sustain me.
I will not fear though tens of thousands
assail me on every side.
Arise, O Lord!
Deliver me, my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.
From the Lord comes deliverance.
May Your blessing be on Your people.
“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” Zephaniah 3:17
