Muses: sunrises; sunsets; & the days we can’t see them, but know they are still there. .
I woke up early this morning, my soul wanting to see the sunrise. I already knew it was going to be a cloudy day. We’re expecting some more snow in New Jersey today. Nevertheless I suppose I ended up receiving something more powerful than a sunrise. It was this knowing - the sun is still rising. Just beyond the clouds, there is a plane in the sky. There is a woman, just like me, that is lifting up the flap of her window to see it. Stuff like this comes to mind when all I see are clouds. I know better. I know it’s all temporary. .
Good morning. 💛

ADVICE NEEDED! 4 years ago Lola had a surgery to remove a mass (not cancerous thank god) and she was spayed. She also had 18 teeth removed. So it’s clear she is prone to dental disease. I was so terrified of the entire procedure. Thankfully everything went well and she bounced back quickly! The time has come for her dental. However she will be 12 in April. I know she has a lose tooth and her teeth have some build up. I’ve tried sprays and brushing but she hates her mouth being touched probably because it’s sensitive and painful. She eats a homemade diet that I prepare and it’s soft so she has no issues chewing it so it’s hard to tell how much pain her mouth is really causing. I see two different vets. One is holistic and one is a top rated 24/7 critical care hospital. Holistic offers fast acting anesthesia but I don’t know how qualified they are god forbid something goes wrong. The 24/7 vet has all top notch equipment and only offers general anesthesia for dentals. I trust the doctor there very much but still get so nervous regarding anesthesia. Do your dogs get general anesthesia for dental cleanings? Do they recover easily? I’m literally terrified and making myself worried sick because I’m not sure the risk outweighs the benefits. I’ve been reading horror stories online 🙄She has an appointment on Tuesday to talk about it. Please let me know your thoughts. Knowing most of you have been in a similar situation, your comments will put me at ease, I just know it! Thank you in advance 💗
