Next time you're feeling a little hot, drink something warm to cool down. According to studies, drinking something warmer than your body temp triggers a sweat response and you'll cool down more effectively. Crazy, huh?
"Dude, I am so glad this cold weather is done! It was crazy man. There was snow or ice or whatever for like two days. I had to use a cd case to scratch the ice off my windshield. Crazy man. Oh, and I work at Urban South. First off, the beer scene here has really taken off, it's great. It's not just Abita you know? But anyway, we don't have central heat there. We were literally walking in to the cooler where we keep the beer, cause we keep that at 36 and it was warmer than outside. But it's New Orleans so it was 70 today. Thank god."- Moby, the cat

So I have been doing fairly well with not having sweets lately...and then Sunday night I had the biggest urge of I NEED ICE CREAM! I begged my boyfriend to take me and go get some and he said, “No, you told me to tell you no.” I was aggravated and thought I’ll just go when he leaves. But then he said, “Is 5 mins of something sweet really worth throwing away all the hard work you’ve done?” This really made me sit there and think. What kind of person would I be telling others to do better with nutrition if I’m sitting behind my phone eating junk? It’s honestly so hard to say no. But then I look in the mirror and see how much has changed and I’d be crazy to start giving in. Treating yourself once in a while is OK with proportion’s but I made a promise to myself to not eat any sweets (MY WEAKNESS) on this 80 day journey. I’ll stick with my apples and peanut butter, YUM, to kick the cravings to the curb!! Also get someone to help you be accountable at home or nearby! I’m always here to help too!!!
71 left to go!💪🏻 ❤️
