@houseplantjournal takeover day 2
How often should you water your monstera? It completely depends on light. More light = more water usage. Less light = less water usage. So even though I'll tell you "once a week," it's only because I know my monstera will be comfortably thirsty within a week. If your monstera can't see the sky, then it will take longer for soil moisture to be used up. But the same can be said if you happen to have a whole week of cloudy skies. Thus, your watering should always be based on observation and not a schedule.
Sometimes people come into your life and your energies intertwine, you inspire each other and have this constant craving to see more of the world and do more, in your own ways. And then in one instant, when you least expect it, that person could be gone forever, leaving you feeling perplexed about life, with deep sadness that’s often hidden by your extraverted personality. @sherylsandberg says in her book Option B that as we get older, we define happiness less in terms of excitement and more in terms of peacefulness. ✨ I wish you peace wherever you are ✨ 💛 #adventureofme

Nothing like a cloudy☁️ day for getting work done😏 as it’s much easier to work in my basement studio when the sun isn’t shining...
The perfect spot for my #stringofhearts on any day🌿💚
