This is Lisbon's main train station and an ending/starting point for many travelers. The Building colossal as it is suggests a European capital that refuses to be old and heavy, a city that wishes to soar on the wind of change. The old and the new contemplate each other. The stone grabs the glass and the metal and it makes this part of the city auspiciously hopeful and delicate. #igerslisboa#lisbon#portugal#europe#atlanticocean#lisboa#gareoriente#fado#design#western
This trip to Lisbon was the first time I’ve ever gone to a city in Europe and stayed put for longer than a week. Since I had visited before and had so much time it was awesome not to feel pressured to run around 24/7. Now I want to go somewhere else and stay for a full month! What’s the longest you’ve stayed somewhere and where was it?
