Crazy to look back at the air bnb that ran our lives for so long! The @coronadocasita quickly became our baby and such a labor of love ❤️ now on to the main house renovation!

I love this four poster bed, and quite frankly everything else about it. Upholstered and studded bedside chests really help to anchor the oversized bed, and a down filled chair helps to soften the blow of getting up if you need to make a stop on the way to the bathroom.... Merry Christmas everyone!!!!! 🎁🎄🎅🏻
We've had so much fun transforming this Traders Point Indianapolis home inside and out. About the only thing that remains from the original structure is the framing. It was worse than builder grade and the worst looking house in the neighborhood when we started. I'm so very proud of our team of Craftsmen and trade partners who put in their hard work in over several phases. Thanks also to Matt Harris @mwharrisdesign for his amazing as always design work. .
From our gracious clients:
"Our home is now incredible and has exceeded our wildest expectations of how it would turn out. The quality and integrity of the design, materials and craftsmanship is exemplary. Chris and his team’s integrity, honesty and professionalism are above reproach. Chris’ passion for what he does and his drive for perfection is evident in every corner, joint, grout line, tile cut and tile placement. If it wasn’t exactly right he would pursue it until it met his very high standard of excellence. His punch list was always far longer than ours ever was."
"One of the comments visitors frequently make about our home is the evidence “that it is extremely well thought out” down to every little detail. This is due to Chris and Matt’s clear vision over the multi-year renovation. “Well thought out” is only one of the comments – others are “beautiful”, “amazing”, “fabulous”, “the most stunning home we’ve seen.”
What did you do this weekend? I like to mix my xmas prep with a little demolition..... .Having a family property management business where we reno ourselves helps provide the bathrooms I love tearing out 😋 #workwomen#homereno
So, this year is the first year that I've had two trees which I know is common for some but to me it's just a real treat and to be quite frank, I feel insanely fancy 😂 I asked Mike if he could set the Alexa to play "I'M SO FANCY" by Iggy Azalea at volume level 10 every time I open the front door but he said (in a very snarky tone) that I need three trees in one picture that weren't bought on clearance for dirt cheap in order to be considered TRULY fancy. And then he called me "basic" 😐😂 .
I may be a basic broad but I sure am enjoying having not one but TWO trees to stare at! (even though the colors of their lights don't match, let's not talk about it) I'm really excited to see how much I love having two decorated trees when I have to take them down and pack them up 😳🙈 Do you do one or two trees?!
Here’s the big reveal of the grass terrace steps I built this week with 6x6 pressure treated Douglas Fir landscape timbers and dirt. (👈🏼 Swipe left for dramatic before & after pics.) Previously the deck was awkwardly raised 4ft above the grade of the backyard, with an ugly railing, broken steps and severely Qtip-pruned yews. 🤢 Now I can breathe. The neighbors thought I was building vegetable garden beds but then the sod went in and boom, surprise, not for tomatoes! 🍅 Next year I’ll replace the deck boards with Shou Sugi Ban Cedar. 🔥
A moment of silence before we begin yet another GIANT home renovation! Can’t wait to show you! 🏠
