There are days I don't act like a dog and people don't know why. I refuse to be active and I pray you don't force me to take another step on my walk. I can't tell my hoomans that I'm in pain so I have to be stubborn and hold my ground. I'm sorry for being a "brat" but I promise it's just because I'm hurting. I appreciate moments like this because I feel like a dog again. #myhandsomeshiba#shibainu#creamshiba#ilovemydog#hipdysplasia#instadog#instashiba

Dear Ms. Ilyevsky:
The International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) acknowledges the Topa-Top Ring Sling, Top Tai Carrier, Baby Top, and Quick Top as"hip-healthy" products effective January 24, 2017.
The IHDI recognizes that Topa-Top has developed products that consider the importance of healthy hip development during infancy. This is especially important during the early stages of hip development in the first few months after birth. We wish to recognize specific products as "hip-healthy" to help educate the public. Please contact us if you have other products that have been designed with consideration for physiologic hip development. There is no fee for this review, but the IHDI reserves the right to rescind acknowledgment upon receiving additional information or in view of new research that contradicts our current opinion.
For those products that are deemed "hip-healthy" by IHDI, Topa-Top may include the IHDI logo and a link to our website (www.hipdysplasia.org) in marketing materials and other promotions for the specific products that have been acknowledged. Also, the following phrase may be used in marketing materials and other promotions by Topa-Top, "The IHDI acknowledges the (name of product) as a "hip-healthy" product when used as directed." In addition your company name, the product name(s), and your website will be added to the Hip-Healthy Products section of the IHDI website.
Please note that the IHDI is not recommending specific products for use and we are not certifying any products as safe for infant hips. However, it is our intention to acknowledge socially conscious companies that are doing their best to provide products to promote optimum hip development according to current knowledge of causes of hip dysplasia and according to current knowledge of infant positioning for proper hip development.

Hey guys! Just checking in! I had a bit of a scare yesterday. I was walking and all of the sudden started howling and crying for a few minutes. I’m not sure what happened but it scared me and my humans.
We have raised almost $1,000 thanks for the generosity of dog lovers all over! Thank you so much for helping me get better!
#cannadilife💨😅💚 This is research for my rare genetic #EDS
I have hypermobile EDS #HED#MTHFR#HipDysplasia#Dysautonomia#Dysautonomia 🙌🏽❤️🙌🏽❤️
Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a connective tissue disease. It is genetic. It came from my father side of the family. My father did not know he had Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. They did multiple surgeries on him and tried other things to get him relief and only made it worse to the point where he ended his life. I was only seven years old.
So if you ever wonder why I fight with such a passion for genetic testing (at birth). I could’ve saved my father‘s life and I could’ve lived a much less painful life. ...
... ... ... Lara thank you so much for all your hard work. You are my hero at #Repost@lara.bloom
One of the best days of my career so far, and one of the most exciting as a patient dreaming of research like this to help us all. I am so proud to share that The Ehlers-Danlos Society has received a transformational $1million gift to accelerate genomic research into Hypermobile EDS, this is a snippet from the Facebook live broadcast we did earlier 🙏🏼 bit.ly/hEDSgift work. This little cutie in our XO Hugs & Kisses Organic Sleepy Hugs .
Why Organic? There are many reasons for choosing organic, whether it’s because it’s better for the environment or because of skin sensitivities or you prefer the luxurious softness and feel of it. We created a Sleepy Hugs in Organic cotton just for those reasons. .
We only have newborn sizes left of our XO Hugs & Kisses Organic Sleepy Hugs. But don’t despair if you are after other sizes, then head over to our lovely stockist @hushabeemelb .
This is me 1 year ago. I had my hip replace exactly 1 year ago today. Mum was pregnant and I was in my 6 hour surgery right now. Having my hip joint sawn, filed down, broken, and a metal spike rammed into my femur. 😳😞 bright side the nurses gave me chicken for tea! And now I am moving much better 😀👍🏻 (oh and mum bought me a gigantic cage which I can really really sprawl out in and I still have it and I get dog mattresses now so it's not all bad 😂😍) #hipdysplasia#goldenboy#goldenretriever#goldensofinstagram

We have a new guest! Beautiful young Eva was dumped on the streets of Spain, she was starving, she’s been eating blankets and is passing fabric, she has very bad hip dysplasia and homely, regular dog things are alien to her, so she’s hanging out with us to learn and find a nice forever home #rescuedog#gsd#germanshepherd#hipdysplasia#fosterdog
Victoria the Toddler. It was always "Victoria the Baby" but decided I had to correct him, she's not so much a baby anymore. Taking videos to look back on to help us get thru next week. It's just a temporary obstacle she'll be back up and running in no time and hopefully not so clumsy! #Victoria_Rose_#DDH#hipdysplasia#toddlersofinstagram
