Sometimes, when the voice of God speaks to us it says something that seems ridiculous and impossible and no matter how loud the voice of God is we find a way to make our voice just as loud; saying things like “that wasn’t God, that’s impossible, what he is saying is crazy and ridiculous.” “What will people think of you” “Everyone will laugh at you!” But that second voice that we hear is not our own, it’s the enemies voice trying to creep in and prevent us from doing the will of God. Using our deepest fears against us to keep us from having faith and being obedient to what God is asking of us. The following message is a story of how I overcame the enemies voice and persevered with courage and humility. ✨
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
“The nature of the enemy's warfare in your life is to cause you to become discouraged and to cast away your confidence in The Lord.” -Bob Sorge
The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.💡 With Love,
I know I should probably be posting "Peace" which is the brand new young & free single. But, despite the fact that this song has been played a quadrillion times at every church around the globe, besides being a song, it's a declaration of the "GOD" that we speak about, that we follow, that we serve. Many of the songs that we sing is a declaration of ourselves, but this points straight to Jesus ❤️ May our life not point people to a religion, but may it point people to a God who really has no comparison. #Hillsong#Hillsongworship

Life principles to live by, day 20 :
In the daily disappointments that threaten to consume your emotional resources and deflect your attention away from the Lord, you have real hope and a real choice for joy and abundant living in Christ. Circumstances don’t control you; you can be let by the Spirit. You never have to be the victim of your feelings. You can choose to look to God, listen, learn, and move ahead. And as you do, the wounded places in your heart and the scars of old disappointments will melt away in God’s restoring love.
He does have blessings for you, more than you can imagine. Let go of disappointments and of the fear of hoping and trusting again. God holds your future in His hands, and you will never lose by looking forward to what He has in store.
"Beautiful Lord, wonderful saviour
I know for sure, all of my days are held in Your hands
Crafted into Your perfect plan"
THE NEXT GEN🎈
I don't know about you, but I will never pass up the opportunity to hang with the lil homies. ALL children (yes even those ones you could think came from hell 😂) are little walking beacons of light & hope.
Kids are lights everywhere they go because of their smiles. Any lil homie will light up the room just by grinning cheek to cheek. They represent hope because they represent the next generation. They are the hope for the future... Heart check: What are you investing into? ·
Daniel Jr. here is one special kid. His story will rattle people's lives one day. I see it in him!! I look back at when I was a kid and laugh at times. I betcha if you asked my mama, she'd tell you more often than not I was practically that kid from "hell" 😂 Just makes me amazed to think of all the people who said "yes" to sowing into my life. Anyways... Even as adults we can be kids at times! What's your whimsy level at today?

“Respirou contra o meu peito
Minha pele era grossa
Mas você soprou
e todos os meus muros caíram
Como o fogo rouba o frio
O gelo ficou fraco
Enquanto sua luz
invadia através de minha porta”

Quite a privilege getting to meet @brianchouston - ten years ago I listened to my first Hillsong United album ‘Look To You’ and read ‘For This I Was Born’ by Brian Houston - one of the best Christian books I’ve read and a radical shift in my view of who God is and how we can not only live saved, but live CALLED as well. Brian Houston is a phenomenal pastor and it has been a blessing to sit under his wisdom for 8 years - if not for his explanation of grace and calling my testimony would not be the same. #hillsong#thereismore#brianhouston
Meaning: Come through Love. The end of things can be extremely painful...but look! What I have for you is more beautiful than you could have dreamed up yourself. Trust me and walk through.

3 ways to let GO and let GOD:
1. Let all of the negativity out of your life to let God in!
2. Let God do it His way! Not my way, but His.
3. Go through every situation with positivity in your mind and know that God has a plan!
Ho quão maravilhoso é, Ho quão maravilhoso é o nome de Jesus meu rei .. deixou o céu para buscar nos, veio pra nós resgatar, AMOR maior que o meu pecado, nada vai nos separar!
What A Beautiful Name!
Do you ever felt totally overwhelmed with the little things? Me too.
Today, I left the grocery store incredibly stressed. The GROCERY STORE (whaaaa?) The aisle order was confusing, the choices overwhelming, and the daily reminder that living is quite expensive just put me over the edge more than I would usually be willing to admit.
I think life has a way of doing that same thing - making us sweat the small stuff. “Do this!” “No no, go there.” “You belong here.” “You should be this!” All the does and the don’ts, the expectations and exceptions, the rules and the rights - it makes life a little less livable.
Sometimes I just sit there, a little ball of worry.
How in the world are we supposed to navigate life alone? And in those moments, this truth always hits me hard: we are not created to navigate this alone. We are in this together. And we have the B E S T companion imaginable on our side - God.
He will not forget or forsaken us. He will provide for us. He will calm our storms. He is our strength on the hard days and our joy on the delightful ones. He is within us - we will not fail.
So, I just want you to remember - it is okay to put down your God sized bundle of expectations for yourself. I am ditching mine right now, and sis, it feels better than good… It feels like FREEDOM. God has an amazing way of doing that. Our life is His, so let’s hand it over.
From overwhelming worry to overwhelming peace - this journey is much better with company. With a BIG God like ours, let’s not sweat the little things. •
