Garden Rosehip ~*~ A single Rose, a beautiful fruit ... 🌹
I’m thankful for the garden surrounding my home. This Rosehip is from a bush that was a birthday gift to me many years ago. When you plant a perennial garden you are given the gift of beauty and longevity. I appreciate my birthday Roses year round, with each glorious blossom and every ripening fruit. 🌹
Indulged my self with a serious play at arranging a vase today. As I have mentioned before the growing part comes far more naturally to me. So I went for a wander and picked lots of things, including choosing some shrubs I don’t normally cut from. And I’m feeling pretty satisfied with my effort. The 3 year old said I did a beautiful job ??? 🙂 Have a gorgeous day everyone.

Surely the dancing heads of sun drenched cosmos must be one of life’s happiest simple delights 😌🌸

oh my.....”they are here, they are here” the excitement!!!! The very best of parcels arrived today. To say I’m looking forward to expanding my garden and including these delights is simply an understatement. I physically had to stop myself from going outside and tearing the packers open immediately......soberly reminding myself that our darling mini human was begging me for a swim, it’s almost that time where dinner needs to manifest itself and a prolonged time outside here at the minute will result in being carried off by large mosquitos 😳. So alas I will resolve to read and imagine the potential offerings contained within these humble brown envelopes and their ever inviting illustrations in the quiet of this eve and begin planning what and when I can begin. 😌

Preparing a batch of #flowerfetti from my new copy of #adeliciousbunch by #lindabrennan such a simple and beautiful way to use my 🥀. I have never taken the time to prepare them this way before (which in this moment seems unbelievable because it’s so simple and easy) and we are looking forward to including these little sprinkles of joy the next time my little lady and I hit the kitchen for a baking session. #simplepleasures#organicroses#wildfleurfarm 🌼such a gorgeous book Linda @ecobotanica 😘 I’m loving it and hoping to visit you soon also 🌸.
Read this beautiful quote about friendships. This is in my dear friend Helen's kitchen and I love it . She has a charming home beachside and a magnificent tropical garden. She dug me out so many beautiful plants to bring home and plant. Can't wait to do it today!!! Very colourful and very tropical!!Lots of succulents all in full bloom and all different colours. Tap screen for clothing credits. Close friendships are very important in my life and Helen and I have been friends since we were 18yrs old. I love living closer to her now and means we can share more fun times together. Thank you for being one of my very dear friends Helen X

Kale is one of my favorite vegetables to grow for a lot of reasons but this purple kale is especially awesome! Not only is it beautiful but it’s purple color actually helps to protect it from one of kales biggest threats, the cabbage worm. The little green caterpillars can easily hide on the green leaves of kale and other brassica but will usually avoid these purple varieties.
Stoked to have featured @elisecook last year. She packed up her house with her partner and traveled Australia for a while last year in this gorgeous VW van. When the road comes calling for you, it’s always a good idea to listen.
