I feel so blessed and have so much to be grateful for after having just returned from 3 unbelievable, special weeks away with my beautiful family.
For the first time, in a very long time, I was able to completely unwind, have a quiet mind and enjoy every moment of everyday. I was able to live in the present, create memories and forget all the stresses and worries that consumed me for months leading up to it.
BUT, after being back for only a few days and getting back into the day to day routine, it’s amazing how quickly you return to old habits and old thoughts. My mind has been clogged with so much self-doubt and scrutiny, that at the end of the day my head is exhausted from all that chatter.
So today, now, as I sit here typing this post, I am taking a deep breath and I am refocusing my thoughts. I am concentrating on the fact that I am surrounded by so much love from family and friends, that I have my health, that I am able to inspire and help so many people achieve their health and life dreams and that I am able to host the most magnificent wellness weekend and allow other women to escape the busyness of their lives to a quiet place where they can put themselves as a priority.
What an amazing life I actually have 💕

The more I scroll the more I find this platform to just be the strangest place. A strange..blessing. We see photos and read captions most times without even realizing the degree of impact it has on the brain. Whether negative or positive, small or big, there is some consideration in our thoughts and emotions. Think about it! What is your feed mostly filled with? What emotion are you feeling every time you’re done scrolling?

Using others for inspiration is cool, but try not to start with the comparisonitis. Some people have been at what they do for months and in some cases years and it isn’t fair to compare your current state to their years of progress. What you need to keep in mind is that they too had a starting point. But through consistent work they got to where they are.

Coliflor y garbanzo con aderezo de mostaza—
Este platillo para mi es una comida completa y estoy enloquecida con el. Se los mega recomiendo— fácil, rápido, DELICIOSO🤤
1 cabeza de coliflor
1 1/2 tza garbanzo
1/4 tza aceite de olivo
1 cda mostaza Dijon
1 cda vinagre vino blanco
Sal y pimienta
Perejil al gusto
Saltear coliflor y garbanzos con un poco de aceite de olivo y un toque de sal a que queden cocidos a tu término de tu preferencia.
Preparar aderezo mezclando aceite de olivo, mostaza Dijon, vinagre de vino blanco, sal y pimienta al gusto.
Agregar aderezo a la coliflor y garbanzo mientras sigue caliente y espolvorea un poco de perejil al gusto♥️
Cauliflower and chickpeas with mustard dressing—
This for me is a whole meal and it’s my absolute adoration right now (especially with this weather). You have to try it— easy, quick to prepare, and DELICIOUS🤤
1 cauliflower head
1 1/2 cup chickpeas
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
Salt and pepper
Toss cauliflower and chickpeas together with a bit of olive oil until they’re the right amount of roasted for your taste.
Prepare the dressing by mixing the olive oil, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.
While the cauliflower and chickpeas are still warm, add the mustard dressing, mixing completely, and sprinkle some parsley on top♥️

This week I have been blessed with traveling through some of the most beautiful areas of the world that Mother Nature has to offer. ⠀
The strange thing is that my environmental stressors are rock bottom, I’ve been physically active & yet because my diet has been less than ‘Naturopath good’ (whatever the hell that means) .. I’ve been beating myself up mentally. ⠀
I’m on vacation so I’m eating local cuisine, sometimes picking random things from Spanish only menus & drinking their local liquors like Mezcal, Tequila, Sangria etc. ⠀
I know we all beat ourselves up occasionally about our health & our decisions. So here is my reminder to myself & hopefully it hits home for you too. ⠀
Get over it. Stop judging & enjoy 🙏🏼Health as I so often say, is about BALANCE. It ebbs & flows.⠀

Day 9 Detox... Not going to lie. Today has been rough. I started the day reading about happiness and it seems as if everything was an obstacle today and blocked me from reaching that said happiness. I am still tired but not as bad as yesterday. This sass though. I can't believe how short I have been, almost like day 2 of the detox...lol I guess we are allowed one of those days. I can probably contribute it to something, but for now, I am going to let it go and go to bed. Here's to a better and more positive tomorrow.
One of our many New Years Resolution’s was to make the most of the work week. So many times we deem Monday- Thursday off zone for social or culturing events but why not make the most of the nights we get done with class or out of work early? Yesterday evening we stopped by the @museumofcityny. Worth it and reminded us to live in the moment and go do more spontaneous things while we have the chance! ♥️

For years we were always training for something. It’s nice not to be doing it for anything official right now. But we are still “training.” For life. For our future. For our health. 🐝
It felt great today to have my normal Tuesday schedule. I started the day with HIIT and ended it with BodyCombat. Because of the holidays and work and what-not I haven’t had a Tuesday with both of these classes in 4 weeks! February and March are jam packed which means there will be lots of adjustments to my normal workout schedule so it was great to get it in today while I can. 🐝

Here’s the recipe!
In a small bowl whisk together 1 cup gluten free oats, 1.5 cups almond milk, 1/4 cup chia seeds, 1 large banana mashed & 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Cover and place it in the fridge at night. In the morning, stir the oat mixture and add in fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey.
This recipe comes out as a chilled creamy porridge that is super tasty and good for you! 😋 Enjoy!

Tengo que confesar que desde finales de noviembre no voy al gimnasio y los últimos meses del año anterior me la pase comiendo de todo pero no positivamente, se atravesó una mudanza y mi alimentación no fue la más sana en ese periodo de tiempo, claramente recibí el año con una pancita de más, jajaja, pero llevo dos semanas probando algo nuevo que me está funcionando bastante y para mí es lo más realista y sostenible del mundo, ya se lo estaré compartiendo (y no, aun no regreso al gimnasio). .
Aunque nunca me he puesto a dieta sí he llegado a clasificar la comida como buena y mala, también me he llegado a sentir mal por comer eso que no debía, pero estos meses he estado pensando...
Nos han hecho creer que para ver resultados debemos de tener prohibidos ciertos alimentos “malos” la mayor parte del tiempo y que sólo podemos consumirlos en nuestra comida trampa, que necesitamos cargar nuestros Tuppers a casi todos lados, que debemos sacrificar ciertos compromisos sociales para no romper “la dieta”, que debemos ir al gimnasio aun cuando nos sentimos mal o de verdad no tenemos tiempo y si no lo hacemos, se nos tacha de indisciplinados. .
En algún momento llegué a creer que debía ser así de estricta para lograr algo.
He visto a muchas personas obligarse a ir al gimnasio aun cuando están enfermos o no han dormido prácticamente nada, he visto a personas comiendo algo que detestan y de lo que ya está aburridos porque su dieta así se los marca (COMER TODOS LOS DÍAS POLLO SIN SAL Y ARROZ HERVIDO CON BROCOLI?), he visto a personas quedándose con hambre para no subir su porcentaje de grasa o a personas comiendo aun cuando siguen llenos para poder subir de peso, ¿QUE VIDA ES ESA?
Estoy súper de acuerdo con que tenemos que ser disciplinados, obvio que sin eso no hay resultados, pero hay que ser realistas y elegir opciones SOSTENIBLES. Soy Health Coach y claro que abogo por que todos comamos principalmente alimentos de calidad y mi labor es guiar a las personas hacia un estilo de vida más saludable y comer 100% limpio lo es, pero NO ES SOSTENIBLE PARA TODOS, INCLUYÉNDOME.🌸

When I was a kid 👧🏽I would fidget in joy when I ate. 🌮I don’t know why food makes me so happy. Downside I’m an emotional eater lol 😝 I think having a job that basically pays me to workout is meant to be because I love food. Now add music 🎶 to me preparing anything in the kitchen and 👩🏽🍳 it’s gonna be good!

Never miss a chance to do something out of your comfort zone 💪💕 When I first started busting out yoga poses in the middle of the street, I felt very nervous and shy and I thought eeeveryone was looking at me thinking I was crazy. Truth be told, that probably was the case cause people in Croatia weren't very used to that 😂😂😂 But moving to the US definitely showed me how much people don't even pay attention anymore...everyone is vlogging, IG storying, snapping...it's become pretty normal 😂😂😂 Not sure if that's a good thing, but hey, at least I can entertain my inner child whenever I want 💕💪 .

Är i en period där jag använder mig en del utav gummiband för att få ett annat motstånd i olika övningar. Tycker det blir en riktigt härlig känsla och ”nypet” i toppläget blir riktigt bra. 😳FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS 😳 .
In order to stay consistent in your actions it’s critical that you maintain a steady focus. Maintaining a steady focus will indeed help you accomplish your goal sooner and with less stress. To embody a steady focus you need to address the following three areas.
➡️Focus on what’s most important, not what’s fun, easy and/or convenient
➡️Focus on one thing at a time, not on trying to multi-task
➡️Focus on the execution of an activity, not on the desired outcome
The key point here is simply to stay focused on what needs to get done without distraction. You must focus-in on the most important thing you need to do at this moment that will help you in the long-run to accomplish your goal. However, I know all to well, that this not as easy as it seems. It’s not easy because our brain will always get caught up in distractions. It will always want to focus on what’s fun, easy and convenient. However, what’s fun, easy and convenient is probably not the most optimal use of your time.
We will typically get distracted and sidetracked when we look too far forward and tease our brains with other thoughts or things that need to get done. However, when you focus on the execution of an activity you are unlikely to fall into this trap because all your focus and attention is on what you’re doing right now in the moment. This moment is all that matters.
Yesterday, I shared my goal and action steps towards getting into my wedding dress. So how do I stay focused on this goal? I focus on the execution of the action steps I have created, not the outcome of my goal (to get the dress to fit). I ask myself every morning, .
HOW MUST I STAY FOCUSED? -Turn my phone to airplane mode while training. .
