The tools you use in your hair journey are really important. They can literally make or break your journey. If you don't use the right comb or brush your hair will break. I personally comb my hair to much. I try to detangle only on wash day. But I notice that I prefer to comb my hair every morning too. × wide tooth comb: this I my favorite it doesn't break your hair as much as a normal comb will do. It makes detangling so much easier. Especially on wash day with a good conditioner.
×soft brush: I use this brush to create sleek hair styles. It's a perfect brush to make a bun or to lay down your edges. I also use it after air drying my hair. I put my hair in two low buns and make sure that the front is really sleek. This way my hair will be straight the next day and I don't have to use a flat iron.
Ps. Sorry for not posting that much. I've been really busy lately. Will try to post more soon! 😘
Just keep swimming 🏊♀️ Never in a million years, three years ago I would have thought that today I would be a full blown ‘Natural Girl’. Never thought that today I would be loving and embracing my kinks, my super curly and natural ‘fro. I remember I used to HATE the hair in the front part of my head ‘cause it is very coarse . Every time I used to sweat I was always reminded that my hair wasn’t straight but it was kinky. On the left picture I was still heat damaging my hair. Going to the hair salon on a weekly basis and I really thought that was my natural curl pattern 🤣 what a joke! I was only playing myself. By the way, I actually decided to do the big chop on Feb. 1st, 2017, so we are close to my first year big chop anniversary and I am super excited!!!😆 TBH: I just love the growth this journey has done to me internally more than the external. && yes I know I look completely different, for the better! 🤣 Solo me estaba jugando yo misma.
Hey ladies, I wanted to reach out to all the ladies who are watching these natural hair YouTube videos and Instagram pages. I’m here to tell you that they are great for suggestions but honestly you have to take what you learn from them and figure out what works best for you. I have bought products and followed other women’s routines and a few times my curls came out like WTF lol. All that to say everyone’s hair is different what works for some may not work for others. Good luck to all the women out there on their natural journey! #beennatural#naturalhair#curlyhair#curls#hairjourney
