Not been eating or sleeping recently due to personal reasons so last night I managed to get a full 6 hours which is pretty decent for me, so what was the first thing I did when I got in from work today?.....obviously food 😂🥓🍳

Let us not be content with staying in one place. Continue to change. Continue to improve. There many cliches that go with this such as “if we aren’t moving forward, we are moving backwards.” As true as that is, reflecting back at your transformation provides some self encouragement. Be proud of how far you’ve come so that it can motivate you to continue changing and to become the best version of who you can be! So, this is a topic that I feel very strongly about as I personally don’t think they have any real health benefits to them whatsoever so I would appreciate it if you could all give this full blog a read and let me know what you guys think.
Without a doubt, there are 100s if not 1000s of these “Quick Fix” weight loss solutions and truthfully, they are about the worst things you can use for weight loss and here’s why.
First off, will they work?
In the short term, yes, they will. Putting yourself in a caloric deficit is going to result in you losing weight no matter what you do to do it. On the other hand, you won’t be getting the nutrients your body needs from real food which will then end up in you being in an unhealthy and unsustainable state in the long run which will no doubt lead into a rebound you’ll regain the weight and be back at square one.
Being a fitness professional my aim is to help you make better life choices resulting in you living a healthier lifestyle and being in it for the long run doesn’t that sound better? Using these “Quick Fix” diets you don’t gain any knowledge and understanding about eating in a responsible and suitable manner which in the end results in you not knowing how to have that balance and live a healthy sustainable lifestyle also paying all that money for what? A short-term weight loss that will result in you being in an unhealthy state mentally and physically which won’t result in you getting your desired physique and mental state.
If you need any more reasons to not go on a “Quick Fix” diet here’s a few:
You lose the weight rapidly which will mean a good amount of it will be muscle tissue. Losing muscle tissue means your metabolic rate will decrease meaning the rate you burn fat at will slow down which isn’t a good sign or what anyone wants. Once you start eating normal again, your body’s metabolism will be worse off and you will probably be worse off in the end and further away from your goal than you started off.
Your primary goal shouldn’t be to lose weight fast, it should be to live a sustainable life, have a sustainable strong mind and body and have a good knowledge and understanding of nutrition

Deadlifts is one of my favorite and hate exercise but I do it anyway. Why? Because I endure pain and gains. Always keep your chest out and back straight when your doing deadlifts. And most importantly, make sure that you breathe! So don’t be “Dead” when you “lift”, Breathe! Follow my fitness journey!
