One of the things I am learning to do is to set goals. Because I am not a hugely competitive person, this does not come naturally to me. However, research shows that successful people set attainable goals and then have the #grit and fortitude to achieve them.
So yeah... these are my #2018 #goals. Each will get checked off as they are accomplished. Notice that #weightloss is just one of the many #longtermgoals I have. This poster is prominently displayed in my bedroom and is a daily reminder of what I want and where I am going.
So.... what are you goals for this year? It's never too late!!! #weightlossjourney#fitness#health#moodboard

Why do you want to Get Visible? Let's face it, it feels scary to put yourself out there...
I have to continually lean into the good of what can happen when you post + show up to remember to continue to keep going, even when things get tough ( or you just have one of those "I wanna Netflix all day" days)....
Here are my biggest reasons for showing up:
1. Build relationships. I have chronic illness and going out wasn't always possible for me. The online space is there for me weather I'm feeling good or bad and so are the amazing friends and colleagues I've met from this space.
2. Receive clients. People aren't going to know about you or what you do unless you tell them!
3. To serve. Weather you are thinking about it or not, people are learning and growing from your content. If your mission is to help others, simply start by posting your experiences.
4. Creative outlet. My mind is bubbling over with ideas. I look at each post, podcast, interaction as a creative way for me to share my light.
5. Grow. It's easy to forget that with each post you are reading and interaction on you are also learning and growing. I love the things I learn just by reading free content online.
Let me know below: Do any of these relate with you? What is your biggest reason for showing up online?

Digging deep to smash this week 👊🏼
This was a true moment of digging deep for Ben ... after achieving a 5 year goal of qualifying for his GB age group team he injured his back. He just about got himself back into enough shape to do the race and then cricked his neck and barely slept in the two days leading up to it. It was huge achievement to not only qualify get a place on the start line but to cross that finish line after the injury was awesome. It really was all about the process, not the outcome. And there’s always next time 😜 .
When results aren’t coming, what’s the story you are telling yourself and what are your actions following those up? No one owes you anything. Commitment to discipline is a choice. #Grit#NotMotivationMonday
There’s a certain level of resistance that comes with discovering your purpose. Now is not the time to quit or give up. This is the time to go to war. God’s given you the grace to win, now find your grit and get in the fight. —@sarahjakesroberts
I used to think, “I’ll be happy when I can walk”.
When I stopped waiting to chase happiness in an able-body, and started chasing it in this paralyzed one, I realized I had everything I needed to be happy.
In fact, I see parts of my life that are so beautiful, and that are solely attributed to paralysis, that I almost dare feel grateful for how my life has turned out.
