Meet Jessie! 💚
We took this sweet girl out of a public shelter where she had been brought in supposedly as a stray and had kittens. She became ill in the shelter and the kittens were relocated; we weren’t told what happened to them. When we found out about her she was doing better but running out of time.
We put her in the adoption center but she’s kind of a sensitive little thing and she got, ahem...constipated. The vet thought it may have been brought on by stress.
We also made a heartbreaking discovery after our vigilant volunteers noticed a lump on her head - she had been shot. In fact, when we had an ultrasound done to make sure her digestive system was okay, it turned out she’d been shot with an air rifle and had several pellets lodged in her. At this point, it would be more trauma and risk to perform surgery to remove them as they are in fatty tissue, not organs thankfully, and we were advised to just leave them there.
So this beautiful, sensitive girl is back in foster care but she still needs a home! Despite all she’s been through she is gentle and friendly. She gets along okay with other cats but would be happy to have someone all to herself❤
Please help us find Jessie who has been through so much the quiet, loving home she so deserves!

Blue is one seriously handsome gray and white guy with unique markings and expressive green-gold eyes. He’s a shy, curious 2 year-old who seems content to do his own thing much of the time but still seems a bit dejected or lost at the shelter. Blue came to us when his owner moved into an apartment building where they couldn’t keep cats, and we suspect he is confused by his present circumstances and missing his home and family. This young guy is not demanding but he does enjoy attention from people and we’re told he can be a bit sassy at times. He truly enjoys being around other cats who will play with him and his favorite toys are balls and simple string toys. He likes to climb cat trees, chase the laser dot, watch the world from a safe window, and snooze on the couch. Blue can’t abide being caged, which means he can't go to an adoption center where his chances of being seen and adopted are much higher than at the shelter. As a consequence, Blue has been waiting at the shelter since November for his new family to come find him.
Blue needs an experienced cat person who understands he is timid, uncertain about his change in fortune and may take some time to settle into a new home. He was around children of all ages before and tolerated them fairly well. While it may take Blue a while to warm up to a new family and home, once he feels safe, he is a mellow cat who will want to sleep on your bed. Come meet Blue and see if you connect! He’s ready and waiting for adoption at Purrfect Pals, located at 230 McRae Rd NE, Arlington, WA 98223.
