06/11/17: We swam in the lake that morning. I was gonna bring out my camera in the water (holding it just above the surface) to take photos of a local passing by on his raft, but my friend told me to just enjoy the moment. And so i did. It was an awesome morning for sure, but I still felt like I missed out on a shot... When we got back to our hut, i spotted this scene through a narrow gap from our place. I quickly got out my camera to take a snap, and all of a sudden, everything seemed to fall into place.

It's amazing when our plans don't work out the way we want them to and we end up in a place that feeds our soul and our imagination. I didn't plan on coming to Vancouver but, through the hospitality of a friend's friend, I guess this will be my home for the next two months. Over the six months I've been traveling, I learned that "stranger" is not necessarily a bad word. To be a stranger means to be unknown to others, but it also means to become one way to another possibility - of friendship, adventure, and rediscovery. #ryeXcanada

💦💦💦Would You Jump?? Seriously one of the most if not the most stunning tidal pools I’ve swam in. Not the easiest climb up these sharp rocks and I made @jackson.groves do it about 4 times to get this shot just right haha. Thanks brotha, well played good sir. So...would you jump?
