This jammie is a little too real for me... I nap all. the. time. I probably sleep double the amount of hours that i work in a week 💁♀️ weirdly, I'm not even that tired throughout the day but as soon as my head hits the couch/pillow/tommy's chest (jk tom doesn't cuddle) i'm out.
BUT in all seriousness rest is super duper important when it comes to training. Those little microtears you created during your last workout need time to repair and rebuild. If you're constantly sore without letting them heal, when will they? More isn't always better, let your muscles relaxxxxx a little. Now don't use it as an excuse to go sit on the couch all day... that wont help... just don't train the same sore areas on consecutive days, that is all!
4 tips to heal sore muscles:
2. Stretching. My fav is foam rolling!
3. Ice the affected areas
4. Drink up! Stay hydrated
When I was that little girl, I used to believe in my dreams. I wanted to become psychologist, an actress or a dancer. I wanted to create a place for drug addicts. .
I forgot about it all. .
Not long after this picture has been taken my Mum died with the cancer… My Dad has done amazing job, bringing up two little girls … I was the one, quite challenging.. .
Actually I didn’t tell anybody that I haven’t got Mum until I was about 13…
I was ashamed I haven’t got a Mum, I thought I am worse than the rest of the kids.
I started smoking in the age of 12, the same year I was drunk for the first time. Then I tried other things, I was curious, confused and lost. …
I was rushing with everything in my life, I was so ambitious, I wanted to help my Dad. I started working very early, moved out and become independent. I didn’t even think about my dreams, the biggest pleasure for me was to get drunk every weekend, party and dance till the morning and meet with my friends. .
I was always working very hard, most often too hard and always too long and above expectations. Overtimes, stress and burnout visited me twice: in the sales role and the leadership position, it took me while to learn from it... .
It took me redundancy, divorce, depression and a complete break down to start doing what I love.
To realized that I cannot waste my life any more… I started doing things for myself. I started doing things I love and enjoy. I started sewing and spending most of the time in the mountains, walking, hiking, climbing, mountaineering, abseiling. I started writing! I’ve learnt to meditate and to treat myself better. I started owning my life. I took control over my reactions and the way I feel and think. I understood that I want to do something what matters, I want to help others - so I started Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching, I realized that there is so many people who need a push to unlock their full potential and that I can help!
But now I am also able to slow down, be present and enjoy the moment. I know why I am here for. I want to help others to become their best, use their full potential and create the life they love and the business that matters!
I can honestly say that i find it hard to be satisfied with what I’ve accomplished, because I always strive for something better. But sometimes you NEED to be happy with what you’ve done, whether it’s your body transformation or something else. Simply be proud of any goal you’ve reached and then set a new one! Here is 3 pictures of a transformation I’m proud of, and I believe this is during 3 years.
Working out is so important to me but also aiming to keep a positive mindset and setting goals is equally just as important.
I workout daily, now that is what works for me some people need a rest day but a workout does not always have to be intense it can be a walk or stretching. Tommorow I will be using the day to relax but will also be doing some relaxation to rest my body and thank it for letting me push it so hard all this week.
Also happy places are so important to me. My happy place is walking my dogs out in the woodlands where I am on my own with my thoughts, enjoying the fresh air around me. This also is great for a positive mindset and clearing my head.
What do you all do for setting a positive mindset? , I'm always open at new suggestions and improving.
Now to enjoy a glass of red wine 🍷 . It is Saturday after all and I have earned this glass or two 😉

Stress less about what you can’t change right away and focus on the little steps you can take to change it. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️Wake up in the morning write down 3 things that would make today great and 3 things you’re thankful for and then at the end of the day write down 3 things that made today great and 3 things that could’ve made it better. Swear I did this for a month straight and started accomplishing the things I wanted to do without noticing the change daily but all of the sudden I realized I got what I wanted. I STILL DO THIS, it changes your mindset and helps you focus in on what you wanna accomplish either today or later down the road. Can be short term things or long term, try it and lemme know how it works 😘 #quarterhorse#aqha#sorrel#countrysidelife#goalsetting
