So today I am moving house for the 4th time in a year, and it won't be the last 🙄 I've noticed over the Christmas and new year break my body has really changed, but not in a good way! I've been holding a lot of fluid, I've been bloated, my bum somehow has shrunk 😰😰😰 and my abs have begun to shrink away too. I'm putting this down to a combination of not eating enough and then rapidly eating too much whilst on the break , and lack of a good lifting schedule. I need some routine, some stability and a new goal. This is the year of the booty, so I'm hoping in 6 months time when I take this photo again, it'll be looking better then ever 💪🏽
From nursing student ➡️ NURSE
For those pursing nursing or currently in nursing school, DO NOT give up!! I know right now seems hard but you will make it through! By no means is it easy, but you will get through it! Some things that helped me get through nursing school was
1.) Getting a planner and organizing my entire life.. School, exams, hw, work, gym and any seconds of free time I had😅
2.) GIVE SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF! For me, that time was the gym (or going out and getting margs😅) but in all honestly I believe everyone would benefit from going to the gym. Not just for health purposes but it helps you clear your mind and get away from all your stresses.
Today I started my FIRST day in the NICU🙌🏼🎉 Although it was just orientation I’m already in love😍👶🏼
3.)DO👏🏼NOT👏🏼PROCRASTINATE!!!! Some people could do it, but god life would become a total mess for me when I did so yeah just don’t do it😅
Also, I know i suck at replying to messages but I’m gonna do my best to reply to y’all if you have any questions about nursing, passing NCLEX, how to manage time/working out while in nursing school or anything else. By no means was I perfect student, I had my ups and my downs but I got through it, passed NCLEX and now am working with my RN. So even if I’m only able to motivate one person, that makes all the difference💕 feel free to drop a question below or personally message me😘

Dropping the weight pretty fast this time. Of course it’s water weight and well my boobs were completely filled with milk. I haven’t been strict with my diet just recovering and relaxing ...or should I say feeding. It’s important to me to just enjoy this moment and bond with my little one so I’m not worried about meal prepping right now. I’m very confident that my body will be back in no time. I don’t understand why people say you will never get your body back after having a baby🤷🏻♀️🤔 soooo not true it’s probably better if you work for it! Anyways going to finish my veggie sub and have some cake! 😍

I love starting the week off with an amazing glute workout it just gets me pumped for the rest of the week! What’s everyone’s Monday workout consist of??
Don’t ask me how I did 30 minutes of spin & still managed to take this somewhat decent selfie because I was sweating & huffing & puffing like a farm animal & legitimately think I pulled my groin so that’s fun 🙂
I dont always look like a hobo in gym clothes🤷🏽♀️ Occasionally I decide to get ready & look some what presentable 😜 I enjoyed my weekend but now its back to the grind! Ive been so busy with work, the gym, school as well as balancing a social life📚 I like having things to keep me busy though, it helps me stay motivated! Is anyone else like that or is it just me?

as promised i recorded my leg day for you guys! i started with a warm up: 3x20 banded squats, 3x10 glute kick backs, 3x10 hip abduction...then the main workout was:
-4x10 leg extensions
-4x10 leg curls
-4x10 hip thrusts
basic exercises like squats, deadlifts, hip thrusts, etc. WORK! you dont need to be doing extravagant exercises to see results...just focus on the basics and master those

Today was Friday for me! No class tomorrow but a full day of studying and laundry on the schedule anyways. Took some time for a little cardio and ab workout tonight at my apartment gym. Wasn’t feeling like I had enough time to do a full workout at my gym tonight, but also was feeling antsy to get up and moving.
Something is always better than nothing!!

Here, I’m utilizing “palming” as a reset in between swings..
Our eyes have muscles that also need to be stretched, relaxed, and trained (just like the rest of the muscles in the body). Too much of one thing (ex. Straining our eyes by looking at bright screens) is never a good thing, and has the potential to jeopardize the quality of our movements, health and happiness..

Still on that buff chicken craze, I put these bad boys in the slow cooker and they were done by the time I got home so I had to have these as a “pre-dinner snack” the second I got home 🤷🏼♀️
||layer 1 cup of chicken broth (to keep from sticking or drying out), 3 chicken breast, season with garlic powder and pepper, pour 1/2 jar of @franksredhot buffalo sauce (standard size). Cook on low for 6 hours. Remove chicken, shred with two forks, toss with remaining 1/2 jar of buffalo sauce. I used @missionfoodsus Street corn tacos, Gorgonzola cheese, & chives. ||

No gym? No problem! Snowed in but found a way. Ran this circuit 4x and some posing practice because ya gal is rusty! (With bloopers🤣) lets keep it real, diet is 70/30 clean/dirty so this is post pizza and brownies😜 And after posting this gonna do some yoga to get my mobility and flexibility back for better workouts and flow in routine. My main priority is consistency in workout routine. Had some friends asking me about what my plans is? I’m in the upper double digits for two shows and I will structure my diet a little more in February and around late March I will truly start my prep. I love sharing and love the messages I get with questions or encouragement! Happy Thursday! 💜🌻
