Extremely thankful for the three day weekend, time with this friend, & the weather 🌥
I’ve been finding so much joy in relationships that are raw & vulnerable, as well as being outside & being (moderately) active ⛰
Surround yourself with people that bring out the best in you, even in hard times. #getoutsidemore#realfriendsarefamily
Coastal swap #SombrioBeach 👉 #KirraBeach. One thing is certain, so long as I have access to the water or the mountains... I’m good.

Rushed home from work so I could take this boy for a walk before it got dark.
Lesson learned.. Jameson cannot be walked while I’m wearing a dress. He slows down for nobody ✌🏼 and found out he’s gained 14 lbs. since his last appointment and I’m telling myself it’s muscle because he has been DRAGGING me.

Alum pot has to be the most stunning place I have been to do any sort of outdoor adventure. After the 150ft abseil, it becomes a whole other world.
Just being a couple of tourists at the weekend 🤓
I'm one of those brilliant/annoying people (depending on your take on it) that likes to plan out a trip in advance. The thought of not making the most of exploring a new destination really stresses me out 😅
So, I make myself a little schedule - with room for manoeuvre, in case of poor weather etc - just to be sure I get to see and do exactly what I want to 😎 Anyone else as (brilliantly/annoyingly) organised when it comes to holidays? Or do you just go with the flow? #typeapersonality
Bodmin Moor- Still one of my fravorite places in the world. This pathway winds its way through pine trees at the edge of the moor. It seems to be largely forgotten though as i have never come across anyone else on the path. On a misty day it feels like the resto of the world is very far away... ISO400 43mm f5 1/125
Note to self: never under estimate the power of going outside. With a tough past few days this view, that sky never fails to ground me and bring enormous amounts of joy ... #bluesky#getoutside#getoutsidemore
Day 28/80 is ✅ (for the 2nd time)
Choosing to redo last weeks workouts was a hard decision because now I’m behind everyone, but the best decision for ME! That is why I workout right?... for me?
Took my workout outside today because it is BEAUTIFUL here in Tennessee and finally not raining🙌🏼 PRAISE. By far my fav part about my workouts- I can take them anywhere🌿 and being outside in the sun is my happy place.
Application process for my March bootcamp is officially open. Just fill out the link in my bio and we can get chatting about YOUR goals b/c you’re with it.
If you can’t make the start date for any of my FIT classes, please contact me ASAP to see if there are available spaces and, if so, we’ll pro rata your first block of sessions. #fitmum#doingthisforme#getoutsidemore
If you're thinking that this tea house looks familiar, then your nerdy senses are definitely tingling. Hayao Miyazaki, the creator of Spirited Away went to Jiufen on holiday from Japan. He was so inspired by this tea house and the town, it became the back drop for the spirit world. Have you seen the film?
A little #motivationmonday throwback from a post I did 3 years ago... it’s about time I start logging miles and training for my #ragnarwasatchback 👟👏🏻

Half Marathon Training Update
On the schedule: cross training
Actual Workout: 4.3 miles (missed my 5 mile run yesterday)
Mile 1: "I feel sick. Ugh my head is pounding. Why am I doing this? I'm turning around at the 1 mile mark." Mile 2: "Okay, one more mile, keep going. I feel pretty good. I can do this." Mile 3: "I can't breathe. I'm going to puke. Why can't to get my pace today? Must be the prednisone. My body aches. Ugh why didn't I turn around sooner. Keep going. 5 miles you can do this." Mile 4: "12 minute miles? This is terrible. Why can't I run today? I just want my body to WORK. Stop it Breezie- be grateful you can even WALK this far." Mile 5: "I have to walk. Why do I hurt so bad? I've got to breakthrough this wall. Run the rest of the way home. You've got this. Finish strong and tomorrow is a new day." And there you have it. I'm FAILING forward as a runner and as a Crohn's fighter.
Coming off of a month of prednisone and an obstruction I am doing the best I can. My body feels like one big bruise. I am not sleeping well. I've had the worst food cravings and headaches. But I am determined to push though!
I know training won't be easy, and my training will look and feel different than most peoples--but it is POSSIBLE- I just need to be consistent and PERSISTENT.
Anything is possible.
I've got this. 💪👊✌️
Snowdrops are one of the first flowers to emerge, even through snow as they have a naturally occuring antifreeze. The petals open at 10 degrees and above, which is the same temperature bumblebees come out of hibernation. They have lots of names, our favourites are Milk flower of the snow, fair maids of February, white ladies, little sister of the snow, snow peirces, Dingle dangles and flower of hope. Do you know any other names for them?
