The abandoned remnants of a campground flooded by the Elwha River In Olympic National Park.
Behind me, about 100 yards away, is where the highway used to be, before the Elwha swept it away.

At 236’ tall, it’s still a notable figure on the cityscape, so you can just imagine what it would have looked like - then felt like - emerging into view for pilgrims who had travelled for days or weeks to visit. Consecrated in 1070, the building has grown, reflecting the purpose and style of each generation of builders. The tower (I think) is from the Norman period. #themoreyouknow#unescoworldheritage
Deer cave in Borneo is the 2nd largest cave in the world. A definite bucket list check off. We walked by a viper snake 🐍 - super deadly, explored the cave and all its’ wonderment, then witnessed 3 million bats 🦇 exit for night feeding. It was absolutely a fantastic day!

Auckland gets fog on only a few mornings each year. So when the forecast was for just that last June I made for the best place in town to get above it all. This is the top of the #skytower taken from Mt Eden summit just before sunrise. Wonderful to behold and also a great opportunity to meet up with fellow photographers like @earlcookphotography 😊👍🏻 #daworldisee
