Day 17 of 31 Day Challenge
A quick find after work. When the container is big enough I include a mini mahjong tile as my calling card. It represents Chinese culture, but mostly it represents my passion for playing the game!🀄️
Win My Designz!
. . .
My friend Darryl [@darrylw4] (podcaster from www.GeoGearHeads.com and local geocacher) was getting married and asked me to design a pathtag for him.
He had some curious specifications but I was able to rock out a cute little design for him and his bride Renee [@reneew2501]. The pathtags came out nice and he gave me a couple for my collection. I plan on keeping 2, but the other 3 will be given away.
I am going to pick 3 of my followers that “like”, comment and tag 3 friends on this post. If I pick your name, you will get one.
1. Follow me (@Lareau67).
2. Like this post.
3. Tag 3 friends.
Sometime on Saturday, 13 January 2018, I will choose 3 lucky winners to get one of these tags. . . .
It's my 12 year geocaching anniversary! I celebrated in the dusk and rain. It took me two tries to find my first cache, a multi cache. The first day I figured out the puzzle with a grave of a former Pennsylvania governor, but I didn't know you could put coords in the GPS. I was trying to intersect the N and W coords as I walked through the woods, but there was a gully I didn't want to walk through. I went home and read the instruction manual for my Magellan Explorist 200 and had a revelation. I couldn't wait to get out again to make the find. I had no idea what an ammo can was but it was a pure natural high when I found it, and the rest is history. The people and adventures ever since have been a wonderful part of my life. #geocaching
