You and your friends are all watching a movie in the basement at Mikes house. You're eating popcorn and eggos. The you see Will, your best friend, staring blankly at the wall. [You]: Will? What's wrong?
He doesn't listen. You ask Mike to pause the movie

You go back to watching the movie but you hear Mike whisper to Dustin and Lucas

Honestly at this point I might as well be made of cookies and ice cream🤷♀️
“Low carb this”. “Cut out all bread.” “Don’t eat past 8 pm.”
My lord these comments make me want to scream especially today. One lady decided to go on for an hour about her new low carb diet and how it cured everything. She “hasn't gotten sick since she started and lost tons of weight just by cutting carbs”. I’m sorry but I just had to stifle my rolling eyes and laughter. Cutting any food group will not magically cure everything.
The reason she is probably experiencing this is because she is eating less and probably more vegetables than before. Yes vegetables are important too and should be incorporated but so are cookies and ice cream. We need every single food group to function and survive.
I hate how all the fads are all about cutting things from your diet instead of adding things in. We should be able to enjoy all food groups and food in general without feeling guilty or like we need to justify it. Also because I know you all were wondering she was saying this as I was eating crackers so I kept shoving them in my mouth and saying “well I love carbs”. Diet talk should not and never will be normal, so do you and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. There is no magical cure for anything and research for yourself before starting any new trend or lifestyle. Thank you for listening to my ramble❤️
