They say your twenties are the most exciting yet unnerving period of life. I can feel this uncertainty with 4 months away from finishing my degree and so many paths I could go down. For the first time in my life nothing is sure, everything is up in the air. 📸: @vikeekee101
A lone motorcycle rider with trailer in tow travels through Wyoming. The light is cut by smoke from tens of thousands of acres ablaze. The rider travels a lonely road; an ugly beauty in an otherwise pristine forest.
Huge thank you to everyone who has ordered a print or contacted me about a print!

I’m left in awe watching the sun change the landscape with its light at every new place I find. The string of Mammoth lakes is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to explore. It’s easy to see why this area became Ansel Adams’ playground. Plenty of backpacking trips here to come over the coming year. This lake just happens to be right off the road, so I can’t even imagine what’s in store out in the wilderness.

New blog post posted. Already half-way through January and I'm still getting the dates confused. Maybe that actually means I'm having a hard time letting go of 2017. It was such a great year, really. Although in the midst of it, it may not have felt that way all the time. I'm still so grateful for each step along the journey, even contemplating a tattoo for the events of last year (which is a big deal for someone with no tattoos). Take a read, link in profile, and let me know what you think! #wildprestige

“Above all, be the heroine of your life, not the victim.” - Nora Ephron
I’ve never in my life been naturally good at anything but this, this I understand, this I can do. It’s not a race to the top, it is a slow methodical almost meditative dance.
If you rush and don’t place your feet, you will slip, if you aim the axe with anything less then full attentiveness, you will miss. One route can have thousands of small variations and the way water freezes is breath taking, a moment frozen in time.
As I pick my way up the cold blueish white castle I am in a trance. I have never in my life been able to tune the entire world out like I can when I am ice climbing. There is no fear, no doubt, no emotion, no thoughts - there is nothing.
In a world pronounced by constant stimulation I have found a place where I can find complete peace, even from myself. This is why I love the icey climbs 💙
A workshop to untether your howl. We believe that through exploration and rituals, we cultivate the essence of who we are and how we desire to live. The Path of the Wild Woman workshop is a time to explore, to give yourself the gift to unearth - and untether - your inner Howl. If you could use a shake up to your routine, or haven't quite followed through on your New Years intentions, let us help you get there. We are beginning on February 11th and we invite you to join us! You can see a preview with our free iBook by visiting the link in our bio. Over this six-week online course, you'll receive weekly emails that will include thoughtful journaling prompts, inspiration through quotes, poems, art and photography prompts, short guided meditations and access to the private #WildWoman community group with guided discussion questions where you can interact and engage with other women in the workshop. 2018 marks a time of renewal, new beginnings and a reclamation of your #HOWL. If this is something you want to commit to, share it with your friends! Starting NOW we want to give away 6 FREE spaces to the workshop - and the only thing you have to do to enter to WIN is tag TWO friends in the comments. If you win, you and your two friends will get the workshop for FREE (we'll pick 2 winners + the two friends you tag for a total of 6 winners). Think of two women in your life who could do this with you - they will be your accountability partners. We'll pick winners this coming Friday! #HowlOften#Giveaway
Today I'm thinking about collapsing in my tent after barely summiting Mt. Baker. In that moment I felt like, "that was too much." Right now I'm on a path to collapse. I'm simply doing too much, but I don't know what to trim from my life.
How do you find balance between what you have to do and what you want to do?

While racing to Grand Teton national park to catch sunset, this moment appeared over my dashboard and took my breath away. Don’t forget beautiful moments are all around you everyday!
