Today is my last scheduled day at Cal State Long Beach, and while I’m there I’m dropping off this little cute commission, a #hornyheadturbot !.
I started at #csulb as an undergrad in 2008, got my BS in zoology, went on for my MS (biology), and ended up a staff member in the department. It’s time to take my diplomas and take a break from school- something I haven’t done since I started pre-K! School has always been a part of my life, and I have always been blessed with a love for it. So this feels like the end of a lot more than my college experience. Thank you to all of my teachers, mentors, and friends. I’ll be back to walk with the spring graduates. After that, we’ll see how long I can stay away!
JERSEY ESTUARY COLLECTION
One of 3 different designs. "FLATHEAD FISHHEADZ FACT"
We all love the flattie as Fisho's
Ket tip : Fishing the right tide is one of the most important things to know and you will pretty much universally hear that the run-out tide is the best to fish. Flathead are ambush feeders and lay in wait near drop offs and the edge of channels for food.
There are more than 40 species of Flathead found in Australia. Most of these are found from southern QLD, south around the southern half of Australia to South West Western Australia.
Gotta Say, one of the best eating fish in the ol beer batter served with chips, Poor ol lizard.
Remember only take what you need, and make sure you let the larger ones go, as they are the female breeders.
