Not seeing the changes in your body you want? Feel like you’re getting to the gym, hitting your nutrition spot on, and doing it all right? Well, first off... keep it up. It takes TIMEEEE! But ask yourself, are you honestly progressing in the gym each week? Are you TRACKING the weight/reps you did last week, and increasing the weights and/or reps every time? Switch it up, too. If you always do the sameeeee workout or split, try a new split next week. Take an #orangetheoryfitness class or #soulcycle class! 💦 Try lifting for strength if you always workout for endurance and vice versa. Keep the body guessing my friends! I started incorporating #orangetheoryfitness classes into my workouts this week (just started coaching classes too!) and I am feeling the changes already. Who else has been switching it up?! 🙌🏼💪🏼

Excited and nervous at the same time. Just the usual premax feelings. Lol
I did not think I would get 6. In all honesty I lost count because the bracing made me feel a little light headed and I honestly thought I was going for 5 at the end, but hey whatever it takes to get 6. Lol
Ummm. Nothing new here. Same old me struggling with strength when it comes to bench 😩😡 I am thinking 265 will be a grinder, but first need to get past my 255 plateau. Oh yeah and sorry for the language. Lol
I was feeling extremely good this day. Those first 4 sets felt light. I knew I was going to get a good number. Doing 535 next week for 5 sets of 2 followed with an AMRAP 😱 that’s only 10lbs off my last max. So we will see how that goes 😄

The fact that I am able to swim outdoors in January with 70 degree sunny weather makes me feel super grateful. Having this week entirely off from running for the first time in months, provided much needed rest, time to reflect upon what I’ve achieved thus far, and my upcoming goal. Het is vrijdag! 🙌 Super leuk dat jullie mij allemaal berichtjes hebben gestuurd met vragen over voeding! Ik wil op een of andere manier meer delen wat ik op een dag eet etc. Nu kan ik heel leuk een broodje ei met avocado showen, maar dat geeft verder ook niet veel informatie. Ik ga er nog eventjes goed over nadenken, maar jullie kunnen mij altijd berichtjes sturen! Gaan jullie trouwens nog iets leuks doen dit weekend? Lifting weights was something that I despised doing for so many years of being an athlete. It wasn't until recently when I had an injury (and lifting was pretty much the only thing I could do for a while lol) that I realized the significance and role it plays in one's success on the track or any sport
I've learned that lifting weights with the proper mechanics can prevent injuries and can translate to proper running form. It is the foundation for the body's resilience and strength for running rounds at meets as well as for getting through long seasons. Very pleased with how much of a difference it has made in my journey back to full health. .
