This quote is so amazing to me because I’ve always been someone to get my booty out of the kitchen once it got hot (mostly before it could even get warm). I wasn’t willing to take any huge (or small) leaps towards my dream for fear of “not being able to stand the heat”. But I never even gave myself the chance to be in the “kitchen”, let alone let it make me uncomfortable! But here I am, making huge changes and taking huge leaps to reach my goals and dreams! I hope that you too can reach a point in life where your brain allows you to take risks & see all the rewards life has to offer for those that do so 💕

Being at an all inclusive resort doesn't mean you have to eat (and over eat) heavy foods! My body actually prefers lighter meals like salads but more often. And after almost a year of better nutrition, my body knows when it's full a lot faster so I don't over eat anymore.
Training your stomach and body to eat what it wants is one if the hardest parts about changing your lifestyle. It typically means eating "less" because most of us are used to large portions of food that don't keep is full for very long.
But after a while it gets easier! You just need to give it time!

I’ve added pistol squats into my routine to help improve my stability and work on some core strength by holding a dumbbell in one arm. •
Front squats are a nice lift that puts more of an emphasis on quads and requires a bit more core strength to keep your torso upright. It’s a nice exercise to improve your mobility and add variation to your leg day! I love to add variation every week so that my muscles are constantly forced to adapt to new stimulus! •
When doing GHD (Glute-Ham Developer) negatives are my favorite way to stimulate my hamstrings and create more mind muscle connection. Be careful during them, for they are not for beginners and require a bit more experience to do. •
Remember take your progression day by day and you’ll see the improvements come! •

Another full swipe workout for you guys from my shoulder day a few nights ago. I've been incorporating some new movements and variations to shock the muscle a bit and the pump has been unreal. 👊 Full workout went as follows:
Machine Shoulder Press - Neutral Grip (to avoid adding stress to a shoulder strain I have) - 4 Sets of 15 to 20
Dumbbell Shoulder Press - Natural Range of Motion (again to avoid additional strain) - 4 Sets of 12 to 15
Machine Lateral Raise - Facing Backwards (shifting weight to the medial delt) - 3 Sets of 15 to 20
Single-Arm Smith Machine Overhead Press - 3 Sets of 8 to 12
Giant Set (all 3 movements back to back):
Seated Bent-Over Lateral Raises - 3 Sets of 15 to 20
Dumbbell Side Laterals - 3 Sets of 12 to 15
Plate Raises - 3 Sets of 10 to 12

I’m so grateful for today! My spirit is filled with an abundance of gratitude. I truly love starting my Saturday mornings at @ghostraining with such strong and inspiring women.
