I've been riding the struggle bus hard this week. It's amazing how these preciously tiny humans are capable of inducing such severe exhaustion! I've basically taken this entire week off from my challenge (no workouts and no mental homework). The old me would've gotten a huge case of the f its, let my nutrition go to crap, and would've given up on the challenge all together. At this stage in my life, though, I recognize that one off week doesn't derail my progress unless I let it. The choice is mine. I choose to set realistic expectations. I choose progress over perfection. And let's be honest, with newborn twins, there will be days that I choose naps over the gym, and that's okay 😂

GAINZZZ MEAL: On days where I train my legs, I eat a lot of protein. The night before, I’ll have more carbs than usual. I eat what works for me and keep it very simple. Don’t make your diet complicated. Eat clean , less processed foods, more veggies and stay up on your protein intake.
