Eh, pak cik tak amek cucuk, amek protein je(I Dont take steroids, just protein, son)....The pak cik is 76 years old...that's like 50 years older than me....and he was sad coz I took the pic before his 'pump'...this uncle is the perfect motivation for me to keep fit from now on....age is not a barrier to achieve your goals
It’s chest workout day. #wednesdaywisdom is about working on your physical well-being and your mental well-being. It’s about getting stronger not only in the weights you lift but also in your mind. As I did my #chestworkout today I was reminded of loved ones who ended their lives because they could not see hope. They had nothing more to live for. As a #fitdad and #fitgrandpa I have realized I have lots to live for. As a #fithubby I have lots to live for. As I continue on in my #fitafter55 lifestyle and push myself to seeing progress on a weekly basis I also want to let people know they must learn to #loveothers and #loveyourself That’s so important in your life journey. Being into #fitness is valuable. Learning to value yourself is vital.
I didn’t post any “new year, new me” crap, but I’ve been consciously trying to make myself accountable to a goal (started in Dec) of working out every day for a minimum of 20 minutes, preferably closer to an hour. Haven’t hit every day (thanks, stupid random cold) but I have seen minor improvement. This is a PR on my rowing machine, a solid 2000m in under 9 min. Feel good about that...my frustration over my lack of running is still there, but I’m trying to ramp up my weight training regimen (along with a daily segment of varied cardio). Today I wanted to try something different and could make up my mind what flavor shake I wanted.
So I used dark chocolate almond milk, frozen banana slices and 4 strawberries, tsp pure vanilla extract and strawberry shakeology. Yummy
