I’ve been spending an unbearable amount of time in the library lately, to the point where i go home for dinner in the afternoon and then head back out to campus. Slightly concerned at how well versed i’ve become with all the library spots on campus- to the point where i’ll probably start having nightmares about it 😂 Jk! Over the course of the past two weeks, ive just been revising and keeping myself carbed up and energized.
Before heading off to campus, i have porridge for breakfast, or toast (with either Pb and jam, or avocado with cracked pepper). Then i make banana oat cookies in the microwave as snacks and dip them in alpro choc mousse pots for snacking. Been trying to stay away from campus bought snacks, but have clearly been caving in ( if you’re keeping up with my stories 😂). My lunches vary according to what i have in the fridge/ what’s on offer at the supermarket, or whatever i can grab from pret or my student’s guild food outlets. What i’ve really been struggling with is CAFFEINE though! I need to seriously lower my intake of cappuccinos after exams, so i’m on the lookout for alternative caffeine sources. Especially because apaz a large coffee contains four shots of coffee which is way too much to have multiple times a day!
Over Christmas i’ve gotten into making coffee from using ground beans- like using the french press cafetiere machines as opposed to using instant coffee or spending £3 at a coffee chain every day.
I’ve also tried out these @reon_uk sachets that aren’t only caffeine induced but provide vitamins such as my “oh so favourite” B12 and the ones i’ve got taste of pomegranate! I like how the caffeine in them is portioned out to a single serving so it prevents you from intaking more than needed and still gives you the same amount of boost that you’d need for low energy levels.
Obviously i’d much rather use them as pre workout for a little pump, but right now they’re working wonders with my revision or when i have energy dips in the day. They’re so cheap and convenient bc i’ve literally just been tearing the top bit of the sachet and pouring it on the top of my tongue. 😍😍😍🌱 What does everyone else use for energy boosts?
