If you are Muslim and suddenly start feeling unsafe in country where you lived for more than thousand years..If you are Dalit and start feeling insulted on every moment of life..If you are Hindu and suddenly start feeling that cows are being slaughtered everywhere...If you are a Jain and suddenly start feeling that your religious piety is being compromised...Just do one thing...Stay away from social media...Don't watch news...Don't go behind politicians...Stay away from debates on religion...And you will find that you are living in one of the best countries of the world!!..PROUD TO BE INDIAN🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳👍👍👮💂👩👨👳👲👩
This isn’t me bragging. Slide left 👉🏽 This is me saying if I can change my life, so can you 💯
I’ve mentioned before how close I came to being homeless. Some huge corporation I was renting from wanted to increase the rent and I just couldn’t keep up. First, it’s expensive to be sick in America 🙄 Second, while everything in the world has increased in price more than ten times, wages here have mostly stayed the same.
So I find myself facing eviction. I’m two months post op from major surgery. The last surgery I needed to fix the mistakes of the first surgeon that butchered me. And then my mom gets badly injured in a car accident. This multi billion dollar company didn’t care, not about my health, not about my mother. They were fully ready to kick me out of my home because I was behind in rent for the first time in SIX years.
Living paycheck to paycheck is terrifying because if ANYTHING goes wrong, there’s no safety net. 8 out of 10 Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Everyday is a struggle living like that. And that’s why I’m passionate about sharing ways to make money. Because I don’t want ANYONE to struggle like I have. Am I a millionaire? No. Trying to be 😉 But I’m fortunate enough to feel secure. I’m not constantly worrying that I’ll end up living out of my car anymore 🤞🏽🤞🏽
And that kind of security is priceless, it’s worth MUCH more than a million dollars. I think, as our government continues to let us down, that we really have to step up and help each other. That’s my goal, just to share how Cannabis has helped me heal, mentally, physically and financially, in hopes that it will help you too 🙌🏽😽💚 (I HIGHLY recommend that RollAway balm. Takes pain away in SECONDS 👍🏽👍🏽) #throwbackthursday
About the same time two years ago I was just barely realizing my potential, even though it had been screaming inside me to get out since I was young ...This year is mine...because again...It’s screaming...and in my head, screaming mouths get fed. #AskTheFuckAboutMe
Jan/Feb @oursharedshelf book📚 In this collection of seven essays, Eddo-Lodge delves into topics like structural racism, class and feminism. But she begins with a crash course in black British history. Throughout the book, Eddo-Lodge touches on themes that are sure to resonate with people of color everywhere. This is especially evident in her exploration of white privilege, which she defines as "an absence of the consequences of racism" — an eloquent explanation paired with real-world examples of what happens when white privilege seeps into the conversation about race. This collection of essays is Eddo-Lodge's contribution to keeping the conversation going. But she takes it a step further and makes a call to action. It's that boldness, and "straight talk" which makes this book memorable. She pushes readers to recognize that racism is a systemic problem that needs to be tackled by those who run the system. My new dear friend Alexia Norton-Jones (the daughter of Clarence Jones, who helped write and draft MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech) has taught me so much about racism, and segregation (even having parents from an interracial marriage, during the 1960's). She explained to me, how "even the simplest of things in life, are automatically difficult for those with colored skin". I have reminisced through my own "white privilege", and appreciate her boldness and being so straightforward in our many discussions....it has helped me better understand the point of view of many people, and for that, I am entirely grateful. @emmawatson Couldn't have chosen a better book to start the new year! #oursharedshelf#smileylymie
Sometimes it’s better to take a day off and give back to ppl thats less fortunate then you. Just because you have a lot at the time doesn’t mean it cant be taken away from you. #blessing#help#homeless#humble

Creating a show like “Man Enough” was a big risk. There’s no gimmick or tricks. Just an honest and vulnerable conversation that we as men have needed for so long. And it’s in this spirit of service and unity that these two incredible guys chose to leverage the power of their company, @harrys , to impact a positive change and spark the conversation to examine and explore masculinity with me. I’m grateful for their courage, brotherhood, and decision to partner with @wearemanenough to chart a new path forward so the next generation, both boys and girls, can have the tools for a healthy balance of the masculine and the feminine. We’re not just men. We’re not just women. We’re human and it’s time we start to treat each other as such! @wearemanenough#ManEnough#equality

This is so horrible. She spike out about abuse in the industry and now she's getting sued ? Just makes them look even worse. So what you get abused and harassed and you can't say anything about it? No! Speak out , be loud and no consequences should come from it, because the truth is so important. It will shield other women in the future.. But apprently they dont care about that.
