🌹I got this rose oil at original unverpackt. I really like the smell of spring and I feel like it’s helping me through the dark days in january. I’m using it daily for my skin care instead of conventional face tonic.

🇳🇱🤸 SANNE WEVERS: 🤸🇳🇱 The Dutch have an interesting but smart balance beam strategy. Their difficulty comes in the form of immensely difficult pirouettes which can receive deductions if the execution is not spot on. And while the Dutch may not have the acrobatic difficulty of the 🇺🇸, they still can outperform them with these insane pirouettes on the beam. Their strategy is excellent, and their routines are beautifully performed. They are unique and they are intricate.
What are you doing to reduce your carbon footprint? 👣
Make the switch to Call a Cooler and STOP your dependency on plastic bottles so our future generations can enjoy a pollution-free Australia! 🌊
This is what a kangaroo looks like when it’s hot.
In Australia we are experiencing a heatwave, with temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius, while on the opposite side of the Earth has been experiencing record breaking snow storms & low temperatures.
Climate change is undeniable and more frequent, I find it absurd how even certain world leaders dismiss the facts & continue to say that global warming isn’t a contributing driver of climate change or that it’s too late to make a difference, so we need not bother trying.
Without getting into the nitty gritty of such a complex problem, I think even from a surface level it doesn’t take a scientist to fathom that the rapid changes we’ve made to Earth in a very short period of its existence, has to have profound repercussions. With just a little understanding it’s easy to see how fragile the environment is. A seemingly little change such as a slight rise in an oceans temperature has the ability to change the climate, produce extreme weather events, increase sea levels & have catastrophic consequences such as mass extinctions worldwide. As we speak there are masses of melting ice and large scale coral bleaching events happening because of record breaking ocean temperatures. Its fact, plain and simple, it’s hard to understand how it’s still debated.
Imagine what our future generations are going to think about our generation, particularly uneducated, ignorant leaders who choose not to take part in united initiatives to take action, such as the Paris Climate Agreement. Why not at least take some responsibility and have a go, we owe it to our descendants, at least then they will see that we tried our best.
Fortunately, it’s not all about leaders, we all have the ability to take action by making changes in our lives that collectively have big impacts, for example recent growth in solar energy and electric vehicles is great to see.
So kangaroos, did you know they don’t sweat; instead they lick their forearms & rub saliva around to cool down. As the saliva evaporates the heat is released from a network of blood vessels which lie just beneath the skin of their forearm. Notice the joey’s foot hanging out.
Plastik – eine andere Perspektive / Plastics – a different perspective (English version below)
Welcome to the Gluecks-Safari (Safari of happyness)! Well, today the topic is again plastics, but looked at from a different angle.
Isn’t it luck to find a beach looking like this one? This is unfortunately not a given anymore.
But it should be a given, that we do all we can, to bring the world back into this condition.
We owe that to ourselves and all other terrestrials we share the planet with, like this turtle.
The picture was taken 2010 on Hawaii, Big Island.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
Cordial regards, Martin

Everything. Thrifted. Always.
The zero waste movement is amazing! But sometimes I feel like we focus too much on packaging and lose sight of so many other things we can do to reduce our overall footprint.
So here is where I tell you that everything in this photo was purchased second hand and it fills my little eco-nerd heart with joy.
What has been your favorite second hand score??? Those are my favorite comments to read, so please tell me 😊
If ya want, check out my new video about my thrift shopping wish list 💚💙💖
