Well it wasn't the best weather for our first Stargazing Night Hike of 2018 with thick cloud covering the sky but we made the most of it and enjoyed it regardless 😊
A leisurely hike 👣 through Beelu National Park around South Ledge, to the Bibbulmun Track and across to Golden View Lookout for a bit of a history lesson on Mundaring Weir. We then enjoyed our bushtucker slices, biscuits and protein balls with a yummy bushtucker tea to wash it all down 🚶 We then all went to the Perth Observatory and experienced a fascinating tour of the premises with a very passionate astronomer guide who provided us with some amazing history and got us up close with some of the oldest telescopes around🔭
Thank you to everyone who came regardless of the weather, and for understanding that we have no control over it, we simply do our best to provide the best experience we can given the situation we are presented with 🤗
This public art sculpture was made entirely from plastic beach trash. I’m happy to see the work but saddened by how disrespected the beaches are. Fish eat this junk and die. Please leave nothing on the beach except your footprints.
