Just over a year ago I decided to give yoga a go and my downward dog definitely never looked like this, I feel lots of people preach about yoga but I was honestly the most inflexible person. It really has changed my mind, body and my soul. I now practice pretty much every day and I feel more in touch with myself than I ever have in my whole life. Keep at things - if you give it your all you can achieve whatever you set your mind to. Namaste 🙏🏻
Stuck in doors today. ❄️🤪 I feel like I haven’t gotten out much in over a week due to sicknesses and now because of the weather so I am feeling a little crazy. But I am not going to let it get me down! Nope! Instead I have enjoyed reading, writing, and now a little yoga.
Of course when you are stuck indoors, the tendency is to want to sit on the couch and do nothing. Which I totally understand! But it’s so much better for your body to get up and move, even if it’s just for a little while. For me, just doing downward dog on the floor and on the wall felt so good. I stretched my back, legs, and changed my blood flow (which can both be energizing and calming for your brain and body). I am ready to get more done today and maybe even deal with my stir crazy girls a little more calmly. 😜
Signed up for a 31 day yoga/meditation challenge at my local yoga studio in hopes of getting back into a regular practice this year. Having the little guy means practicing at home most days. Keegan’s so good at downward dog it’s almost like having an instructor right there with me.

Yoga is your own journey. With practice, you’ll be able to do more but don’t rush the process. Join us this Saturday at @eastendmkt for Silent Yoga. Beginners are welcome <LINK IN BIO>

Grateful to the Bloc Shop crew for creating my favourite playground! I love everyone who makes this gym what it is and I’m proud to represent @blocshop this weekend as a sponsored athlete. I’m really excited that Bloc Shop is offering me the type of support that I need and I’m glad to be associated with the community and passion built around this gym🌟
