Yesterday was my first experience with a glide bait. I threw the #deps#slideswimmer250 for the first time. I’ve owned that dang thing for probably 4 years and haven’t used it. After getting bit early but only coming back with a scale,I knew it worked. Then I caught one that wasn’t much bigger than the bait and my confidence grew. Finally, I connected with a keeper. Sorry the video isn’t the greatest with the sun in the background. And it’s a little long, especially waiting for the boat to pass🤫. That bait is hefty. I was tossing it on a Dobyns 867 Mag HSB with a Lexa 300H and 30lb Big Game. I tossed that combo all day and was very comfortable. There have been complaints that the reel seat is too big especially for my Calcuttas and Curados. The Lexa fits well. #dobynsrods#daiwalexa300#trilenebiggame#caldelta#stripers#glidebait#swimbait
