I’ve been MIA 👀
I can only blame myselfff 🙊
At the same time, I’ve been living in the moment and learning a LOT as I go 🙏🏼😌
I’m ready to be more steady again on a daily basis, get back in the gym💪🏼, add more meatless protein into my diet🍴(suggestions¿), and start a more consistent yoga journey🧘🏼♀️🤸🏼♀️
Everything is a process.🙌🏼🌗 And although goals are [i want to say necessary] important, not having expectations is too! 〰️ #Balance I’ll be progressively getting my 💩 together while still enjoying the life I am continuously thankful to have. ☁️ Thanks for hangin wit me guys🙃 #Goodnight#SundayNightPost#UnPlug#ItsMe#Temple#Denver#LastNight#Club#Vip#Colorado#SaturdayNight#DateNight#Selfie

Hey Instagram community, I have to be real...I often have a mixed relationship with this photo outlet. It's a beautiful way to share, learn and connect but lately... ennui has set in and there has been a real lack of fun/spirited/meaningful connection. I lose roughly 30 followers a day...I am by no means in this to gain a massive following just because....but it seems as if this is a popularity contest and gaining approval from others. I use this and hashtags as a platform to share and hopefully grow as a photographer, storyteller and most importantly...a human being. I've seen some amazing stuff out there on Instagram and humbled by some of the talent and storytelling, vulnerability and art...it’s what keeps me active on here... I've also seen myriad posts from high profile accounts that are really having a true negative impact on some of the natural wonders and cultures on this planet just to gain popularity in a selfish pursuit . There isn't enough discussion on this current theme on Instagram's side or on our end. It pains me. Am I contributing to this problem?
Then there is the issue of mental health and social media. A whole other can of worms.
Anyways, I want to ask you all...what are your thoughts on some of these issues? How would you like to engage with each other on here? If any of you are in the Denver area and would like to grab a drink or coffee sometime or help organize a get together...please...let's do it. I am craving more of this genuine connection and engagement and would love to meet with those who are seeking something similar.
