To layout the pin board on my practice dovetails I first scribe a base line using my 4" Hamilton marking gauge made by @gaugemaker1. Next, I used my marking knife with the tail board clamped perpendicular within my dovetail alignment board to scribe the tail sockets. I then used my Saddle-Tail made by @sterlingtoolworks to mark the vertical pin lines. After cutting the tail sockets with the dovetail and fret saw, I chisel to the scribe line, do a little clean up, and undercut the tail sockets. With a little bit of glue I'm able to get a tight fitting dovetail joint. Practice is starting to really pay off. #dovetailsaw#fretsaw#dovetailmarker#markingknife#markinggauge#dovetails#handcutdovetails#handtools
How cool is this "knock down" connector @jeffmackdesigns is using on this bar top? I could have used a few of those on the bed I made for my daughter. Would be great for large projects that you know you'll need to move one day. Got any projects that could use this type of connector?

Here’s the process of making our most recent bowl design. All tooling was provided by @toolstoday, check them out for CNC bits and all kinds of other good stuff! Already getting tons of use out of our new CNC from @axiomprecision. Such an amazing machine!
