I had some really high hopes this whole snow thing wasn’t gonna happen....now that it’s here, it’s pretty 🌨❄️ however, it’s all fun and games until all 3 sons are begging you to go play in it after weeks of being sick 😩
Aaaand I’m sick 😷.
I want to preface this by saying that currently I’m feeling 20%-30% yucky. I’m not the type of person to wait until it gets really bad/have the cold or flu be full blown to take time off work. If anything is off within my body, I’ll notice it right away. And this took years of learning what your body feels like at its’ best and at its’ worst.
I believe if I took the time to rest my body before the cold or flue gets any worse, then I’ll actually only need a day or two before I can feel back to normal again. Many employers might not agree with me, and that’s why I’m so lucky to have a manager that understands and allows me this time to recover ❤️🙌🏻.
What’s your recovery method? Take time off right when you feel like your body is fighting something or wait until it’s super bad so that you don’t feel like a slacker at work?
