So I was afraid of posting this because I’m in my undies and it’s very revealing to post an image of my raw body on social media.🤦🏽♀️😰 My legs tensed are uneven sizes and to me my tummy looks a bit chubby and my waist not slim enough. I’m not happy with my body image because I haven’t been working out that much over my holidays and I’m used to being leaner. Behind every social media pic there are these thoughts, so don’t compare yourself to others because you don’t know what goes on behind the screen.🤳🏼 This is me right now and I’m ready to see how much progress I can make!🤗 I’m EXCITED to get home to Brisbane and get my workout routine back on track before uni starts💪🏻😁 it’s been so so nice to have 6 weeks of holiday and rest&relaxation here in Dubai with my fambam☀️🌈✨ Feeling a lot better mentally, refreshed and ready to get lean again🙏⭐️
***NUTRITION KNOWLEDGE ALERT*** In this week's New Year nutrition article, Coach Manu introduces the concept and meal timing and discusses optimal meal frequency for performance and health.
There is a lot of misinformation out there about how many meals we should eat over the course of the day. Most of the time it depends on lifestyle factors, health/fitness goals, activity levels among other things. For most of us eating 7 meals a day isn't feasible with a busy lifestyle and eating only one or two may not provide us with enough macro nutrients to get the most out of our training.

Remember that time you looked in the mirror, said something horrible about your face or body, and woke up the next day with an entire new body composition...
Because verbal body bashing does nothing. Absolutely nothing. There is no place for it in your crusade to be a brilliant version of you. It doesn’t make you healthier, fitter, stronger, more sexy, more desirable. -
Hating your body doesn’t make you thinner. And whatever reason you have created for using every opportunity to say something negative about yourself at its root is completely untrue and illogical. I urge you to challenge your thoughts next time. -
See, you think being horrible to yourself is going to motivate you long term to get off your ass and go to the gym... it does not.
It is self care, self respect and self love that will motivate the correct reasons to get yourself moving and eating mindfully... forever.
I will challenge anyone who thinks that your reasons for self hate have legs to stand on ❤️
Try love. It’s a beautiful place to start the journey to an outstanding version of you. .
