Let's talk beer; This is our Wet Hop Pilsner. It is the next part in the exBeerimental series. This is one of our favorite beers we've brewed this year. .
What's cool/different about this beer?
It's cool because we contacted a hop farm in Germany directly, Hopfen-Kontor Hopfenanbau! These guys are awesome, they have actually patented a way to keep hops in their wet form for up to 16 months; meaning, that when you receive these hops you get them as fresh as possible, not dried and/or pelletized. .
What makes this beer unique is that we are one of the first breweries in the US to use these hops. .
So come in to the brewery and give it a shot (while it lasts), we are readily proud of how it turned out. .
Cheers friends 🍻
We did a lot of critical thinking (alright, we mostly ate a lot of chocolate) to bring you twelve beer and chocolate pairings for Valentine’s Day weekend (Feb 10th-11th). Head on over to our blog to find out more. Link’s in the bio!
Last week we had the opportunity to attend this very informative and FUN conference. One of our primary objectives is to help growers improve their #soilhealth This goes for not only Corn and Bean farmers but Hops Growers as well! Introducing this segment of growers to our products is going to be a lot of fun for more reasons then one! Cheers! #localhops#craftbrew#craftbeer#hops

Today we’re talking Dorito flavors and what beer styles to pair them with. We have a solid list up on our blog (link in bio). Pictured is the classic Nacho Cheese with @commonrootsbrewing Modern American Pale Ale. .
But what flavor/beer combo would you want to have?!
Proper Job from @st_austell_brewery 🇬🇧 a Classic, Cornish 5.5% IPA that's perfectly balanced and powerfully hopped!

It’s not easy to overshadow a work of art like @strathconabeer’s Get Down On It IPA, but this four-pack of perfection fell victim to the Manwolf Mantra, recorded forever in neon.
No matter, the beer was too damn good to stay outta the limelight for long. This juicy beauty is amazing and perhaps not long for this world, so go get some cans while you still can!
For Christmas @kaylamoran and I worked on a project that was long overdue and gave White Paw Brewing the logo and brand book it deserved.
I am going to be placing a second order of sweatshirts for anyone that’s interested! Deadline is 2/3 and they’re $20 each.
Let me know if any of you are interested and hopefully there will be more White Paw news coming throughout 2018 🍻🙃
Buffalo Trace | Colonel E.H. Taylor | Small Batch | BiB | @buffalotrace
DP: “On the count of 3, ok?”
WV: “Wait, wait, is that 1,2,3 lift? Or 1,2 and lift...?!”
If the Colonel could only see this shambolic scene being played out. Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. is one of the founding fathers of the bourbon industry, with a legacy that began at the close of the Civil War when he purchased O.F C. Distillery. The innovative techniques he developed there are still in use today.
The Small Batch Bourbon has been aged inside century old warehouses constructed by the Colonel himself. It’s the entry level to the E.H. Taylor line up and being bottled in bond - meaning the contents is from one distilling season, produced by one distiller and at a single distillery.
Whilst the nose on this one delivers strong currents of alcohol, give it a moment and the rich sweet butterscotch and caramelised fruit scents start to reveal themselves. The reward is a power punch of flavours including smoked oak and vanilla, Black Forest fruits and slight floral notes. And overall, a well balanced dram, which for me punches above the other small batch offerings in a similar price range.
Whilst not overly complex, it’s well-rounded and delivers a relatively smooth, medium length finish. At around £80 in the UK it’s hard to recommend, but for $40 state side, I certainly recommend seeking this one out!
What would you brew if you had these ingredients on hand?
1. You can choose any yeast strain
2. You don’t have to use all the ingredients listed
3. Comment with style and the ingredients you would use
.... and GO👇
It's kinda crazy that we've squeezed our brewery into this small space in Post Alley. But when you're Seattle's original urban brewery you just make it work. Who's visited and toured the brewery? ⠀
Thanks for the great pic @lisakayphotos
