#consistency is key is fat loss, have been on a very slow and progressive cut over the last 6 months, from 181lbs now with my lowest so far of 161lbs, 20 #lbs down.
All of this has been done with diet breaks for nights out, My birthday, Christmas, bereavement, my dad having a heart attack.
Life gets in the way but staying accountable to myself has been a massive help.
#macros have helped me still eat what I want and still lose body fat.
Lifts are still up in the gym 190kg #deadlift, #squats 140kg, #benchpress 100kg.

- Spiderman Crunch × (30 secs)

Another week another 10kg added to the deadlift work set, still just the single work set for these working in the 4-6 rep range after 3-4 ‘rehearsal’ style sets of sub-max load.
Again, pretty happy here. I think it’s easy to let your body work against you when trying to stay within the same precise movement patterns which makes these TOUGH but so damn rewarding.
For me, the only small thing I would have liked is a little more emphasis on driving my hips further back on the eccentric.
I prefer my hips to dictate the bar lowering, rather than thinking ‘bend over and lower the bar’.. seems to keep everything engaged that needs to be & I certainly feel a difference in the pressure on my lower back.
Anybody else have your own deadlift cues that helps your execution stay locked in stone?
Why is @jordanspieth one of the best putters on the @pgatour right now?? Well his VERY simple. He keeps the putter low, it goes back and through on the same path, steady head. #Consistency with #YancyCamp dead-hang pull ups 💀💀 (hang 10 secs, do a pull up, hang 10 secs, do a pull up, and so forth) have truly taken my grip strength to another level. When I first began doing these I could barely hit the gold standard (10 pull ups/100 sec hang with no added weight). But the other day I strung together 13 pull ups/2:10 hang with 25 # between my legs.
