I love hearing clients tell me that they love the way they look in my photos. This headshot, done for the City of Conroe, was part of an exciting new rejuvenation and outreach effort by the city. I’m excited to see how Conroe grows over the next 5-10 years.
This week's installment of #PortraitsMondays is brought to from one of our @thespinxcompany shoots last week. Normally when people think of portraits they don't think of their commercial application; so we'll give you a quick breakdown of why we encourage clients to consider them for their business.
When possible we like to shoot our portraits on location to give the image context, to help our clients tell their story. There is certainly a time and place for backdrops for headshots, however these on-site portraits help viewers conceptualized everything within a shot. Not only do we show that we have friendly staff; but it also implies that this is a fun and welcoming workplace/store to visit. That little extra context takes a friendly face, and turns it into a marketing tool for our clients.
That little bit of extra effort to place a human being in their environment helps to create a connection, a story, and an image with purpose.

Our #LinkedIn Tip today: "Amplification: Social Media can also be helpful in amplifying the reach of your existing marketing efforts. In particular, a company that creates a relationship with a popular brand influencer can benefit from having its brand exposed to thousands of potential customers." by The Art of Networking

This photo sums up my staycation this weekend pretty well...Stayed cozy, chilled, and treated my body with comforting foods.

Jared and the Mill went on tour in support of their latest album yesterday or so. We worked together before, but this new ongoing project (which I conceptualized with them and Megan Mcleod) is a bit grander in scope and concept. Here's hoping folks enjoy it as it rolls out over the next year.
