This is seriously my favorite book right now when it comes to color. "Mastering Color" by Vicki McMurry describes the color combinations I wish I knew years ago. If you're looking to learn more about color palettes, composition techniques and some of the basics of oil painting then I highly recommend this book. :)
Our color mood focusses this time on Cocoa, Toffee, Bubble Gum, Celadon and Corn, and it looks great, both for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter palettes.
Brown is according to a study in color psychology, the less popular shade which being so close to nature and soil, could come as a surprise.
