During WWII, after Pearl Harbor had happened, and a few months after Roosevelt officially entered America into the war, internment camps were built to keep all Japanese incarcerated, in fear of spies. American civilians who had known nothing but American civilization and a way of life. Over 110,000 U.S. civilians were incarcerated. It’s SAID, now don’t quote me on this, but a majority of the people running these camps and decided who went to the camps, were done out of pure spite for the Japanese. Racism. Children were born and raised in these camps. For sure not as bad as the concentration camps in Germany, but in certain ways, they were the same. Just remember, that we did this. Maybe out of fear for protection for our country, but we still did this. This camp right here, was located in Colorado.
