Holy cow! So a few weeks ago, I walked upstairs out of curiosity to see how our two libraries were. Yes, there are two libraries here. More info will come later, anyway!
I find this book, plus about 5 more in take back to my room. I knew I was having my sewing machine shipped here sometime soon, so figured a book about sewing could help since I'm a virgin. Well I didn't open it until right now! Holy hell I've never been more fascinated, yet horrified to even indulge! 😳 a lot of terms I'll need to look up that I'm unfamiliar with...But ooh! I can haz kimono?!? Yassss plz!! What a score! I don't think it had even been unfolded! It was so crisp I couldn't get an area to unfold! Nice book! Can't wait to make the pillows I've been waiting to make FIVE EVAH! 😍 #
Whenever that happens! 😅 if you have any tips whatsoever on how to get accustomed quickly, please just let me know in the comments! Most I've done is cross-stitch! This machine is intriguing. 👀 so hit me!
Did some tourist stuff today in Central City CO. What a interesting town with many, many lives. Massive history. I'm going to put some pictures up in stories of details I liked on my small tour of two historic buildings here : Teller House and Central City Opera House. 📸
"The Face on the Barroom Floor"
A painting on the floor of the Teller House Bar in Central City, Colorado, United States. It was painted in 1936 by Herndon Davis. Folklore says it was a sneak job by Davis due to drama with the owner. This is a picture of the owners wife. She was an active member in the Temperance Movement... So he put her amazing side eye game on the floor of the bar.

These little day trips have been my favorite things on earth. Traveling around, eating at little local restaurants, meeting new people and hearing their stories. Haven’t been here for a while but god it’s good to be back. This one was for you old friend. Love and miss you. Happy Saturday friends 😊
Listen to your body. It will tell you when enough is enough. But listen closely. Don’t give up before it’s time. Don’t let those little minions tell you to turn around just yet. Push yourself. Even if it’s only a couple steps past your comfort zone. Baby steps is how we make it all the way there. Don’t expect to make it your first time either. You gotta just keep trying little by little! Set the goal this year and start your baby steps towards it. .
Photos of this magical place had me itching to go here before I knew my body was ready. I spent the next two years trying training it on other trails similar to this one. . My first time trying for this lake was not a success. But I didn’t let that stop me from trying again! And I’ll tell you the reward of accomplishing this trail was much higher than reaching the destination of the lake! Don’t get me wrong... the lake and the diamond were mind blowing in size and beauty! But the 11 hours spent on This mountain were self empowering and incredibly educational! I learned more about myself that day than I had In a long while!!!
Thanks for being my hiking buddy @bendriver!!! I’ll never forget this day!!!!!!!
