with my ShakeO!
Heating the ShakeO does kill the healthy active benefits, so I wouldn’t make this very often. But on occasion, it’s a nice treat.
It’s still healthy... much more healthy than a mug cake made with flour.
It was totally worth the sacrifice!! ❤️ Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. almond or coconut milk
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology (or chocolate protein powder)
1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
¼ tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. peanut butter (or almond butter)
1 scoop Power Greens (optional)
In bowl, beat egg and add almond milk. Stir until well-mixed.
Add Shakeology, cocoa powder, baking powder and Power Greens (optional). Stir until mixture forms a batter.
Spray a large, microwave-safe mug with cooking spray. Pour in batter.
Microwave for approximately 1 minute 30 seconds. I check the mug cake after 1 minute because I like mine a little gooey like the photo.
When done, turn out onto a plate, top with peanut butter and enjoy! In a pinch, you can eat your mug cake right out of the mug! *** Instead if using peanut butter, I opted to use coconut and pecans; here’s how:
1/2 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
1 Tbsp unrefined coconut oil
2 Tbsp coconut milk
2 Tbsp chopped pecans
Add all ingredients to small pan; heat in low and stir for about 4 minutes. Once mug cake is done (I cooked mine for 1 minute 10 seconds), too the cake with the coconut mixture. #mugcake#healthy#chocolate#chocolatecake#shakeology#coconut#pecans#delicious#dessert#amazing

I made 7 cakes this week (6 for the bakebook/cookbook) and this one ☝🏻 was sooooo frustrating. I scraped off the decoration I had on it originally, and it sat in my fridge for a day while I glared at it 😬🤛🏼 - wondering what the heck went wrong with what I originally had planned. Well, I was adding some white drip to a white chocolate raspberry cake for tonight’s private cake class, and I had some ganache drip left over and decided to save this one. It turned out much better than I had hoped, and although the recipe and original decor didn’t make the cut for the cookbook, I still think it was pretty enough for it’s own little photo shoot. I think I like it better than the first time!
