The talk of our local coffee bar is the arrival today of “buran” a freezing wind from Siberia that sweeps across North and Central Asia only arriving to Italy every five to seven years. Temperatures are dropping and snowfall is expected (though I’d be surprised if it actually happened in #YourFlorence) throughout Italy so this gives me the perfect excuse to do absolutely nothing this Sunday but read and watch true crime. Buona domenica a voi!
Finished product. Yes, bought a few... but so did this famous couple 👉🏻👉🏻

I have a very special relationship with airports. I basically love them😍 I just think it's such a special place. Thousands of people going to different destinations, for completely different reasons. Vacation, business, going to study or moving to another country, to see a loved one or to meet a lover... I always wonder where would these people be going right now, what is their story...
Moreover, it is a home for all the different airlines with their own stories too. When I see an airplane, very often I know the airline. But when I don't, I try to guess the airline/country based on the colors/ logo...I think airports are just so fascinating! #brusselsairport#brusselsairlines#airport
The making of blue Jaipur pottery at one of the city’s last remaining workshops, where everything is done by hand. Four generations old, the factory revolves around two levels and one massive kiln. Downstairs, they grow the clay into vases and table ware. Up a rickety bamboo ladder (yes, climbed it), artists glaze the floral patterns using natural colouring. What looks brown when painted will become vivid turquoise after firing!

My favorite crispy skin salmon in Makati. A hidden gem @ The Belle and Dragon. 5/5 #camilleeatsinmanila
Had a fancy lunch at Cafe Grey but I think this is the only thing I took a picture off :( This fluffy Panna Cotta was just the right amount of sweetness and I felt like I could eat it forever...ALSO, I really recommend going to Cafe Grey! It’s a great restaurant with a wonderful skyline view of Hong Kong Harbour + it turns to a bar at night. ;) #camilleeatsinHONGKONG

Сбегая на 2 недели из зимы, весну ожидаешь с таким же трепетом, но не так нервно 🕊
Located near the historic center of Sintra, Portugal lies the Quinta da Regaleira - a spectacular estate that sits in a World Heritage protected landscape. While thousands of tourists flock to the castle every year to admire the unique architecture of the Quinta de Regaleira that combines Gothic, Egyptian, Moorish and Renaissance features, one of its most fascinating features is located beneath the ground – a pair of wells spiraling deep within the earth. The wells were never used, nor intended for water collection. Instead, these mysterious underground towers were used for secretive initiation rites. German philosopher Martin Heidegger's important work 'Being and Time' is a difficult but illuminating work in which Heidegger formulated his “fundamental ontology” of what he called “Dasein” (“being-there”), his term for human being(s), because as per him we just find ourselves to “be there”, in the world, and afterwards try to account for it in religious, metaphysical, psychological or political terms. .
During my time in Varanasi I realised I loved capturing moments of what Heidegger meant by people just 'being there'. Capturing humans while they were finding solace in ones own company, thoughts & surroundings even amidst the everydayness of life. Just like this old man in the above picture. He was so lost in his thoughts that he had no clue I was clicking him from all possible angles. When I took the first picture I liked how there was nothing much happening in the frame besides him sitting idly in the thinking pose while musing over something but when I walked few steps ahead & turned to look at him again I saw what I like to refer to as the 'Everydayness of life surrounding him' which can be seen in the second image in this post.
