Short but great bouldering session with my girlfriend this morning. Sent 7A+ very fast and than tried 7B extension. I suffered a heartbreaking fall from the top hold while I was matching it. I didn't have any power left after that. My love was also close to sending her 6B+ project. Good times.
How do I manage to keep a training routine when I am traveling all the time? Answer: I don’t have a routine, I made a promise for myself to move my ass in some kind of way everyday 💪Yesterday I took a dropin yoga class at lunch, the day before I was playing monkey at this climbing wall. It is always a gym, crossfit or any kind of outdoor activity nearby. Running is another great way. All it takes is to be creative and stubborn. Somedays if I feel weak I just take a walk and most days I end up doing yoga at the floor (with a mat or without.) Everybody are different but I know that my body and mind are feeling the very best when I am active. Even if its only possible 10 minutes one day, that’s better than nothing at all
Photo by @shonephoto (Robbie Shone) - In one way or another we are all explorers, following our personal journey through life and answering questions along the way. Pictured here, an Italian explorer descends into a moulin (a cave in the ice) on the Aletsch glacier in Switzerland. Late in the evening when the temperature is much colder and prevents meltwater cascading down inside the cave, this explorer rappels into another world inside the ice. A world that can help glaciologists better understand how and why these beautiful glaciers melt.
