"Ugh, this dress just won't fit". "How am I supposed to get there now that I'm all wet?". "Ugh, my manicure just chipped". "This is the worst hairdo I've ever gotten". "I have too many clothes and nothing to wear". "But I don't want to. It's cold in there. I feel vulnerable and exposed. I just would rather curl up in a ball of dirt in my bed and push this off another day(*Crawls to shower*)".
"This exam was a complete disaster. My life is so sad right now".
"Oh crap, it's Monday again. Do I really have to go to school?"
"Great! Now I have to start all over".
"Oh no, why isn't my instagram working? Someone call 911. No, seriously, what am I supposed to do to pass the time? You mean actually... speak to people? God forbid". .
The list is endless, ettlers😄. If a medal were to be given to us for something we do almost every day or rather every minute, it would be for COMPLAINING. Or if there were an Olympics for complaining, we would definitely get the gold medal😆. It doesn't matter if it's day, noon or night. If we are awake, there's a solid chance we're complaining about something — whether it's to ourselves, in our heads or to whomever is willing to listen.
But here's what God has to say to you about this:
"Do everything without *complaining* or arguing, so that you may be innocent and pure as God's perfect children, who live in a world of corrupt and sinful people..."-Philippians 2:14-15.
Paul wrote, “And do not *grumble*, as some of them did — and were killed by the destroying angel.”-1 Corinthians 10:10.
. "Do not *grumble* against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door."-James 5:9. .
"The people began to *complain* to the Lord about their troubles. When the Lord heard them, he became angry and sent fire on the people. It burned among them and destroyed one end of the camp."- Numbers 11:1 (Read down to verse 20).

Good job Livia....Proud of you kids 👌👌👌👌 #pendidikankarakter#characterbuilding#generasipembangunbangsa#sgpb#funlearningschool

😀Be Grateful😀. What are you truly grateful for? At times, we overlook the simple and small things in life. The Secret of Success book mentions that by being grateful you’ll be more focused and appreciative. How true it is. #BeGrateful#SecretsOfSucccess#BeInspired
Wow, 2018 has started off like ☝️! We hope you all had an amazing holiday and new year. Thank you so much for all those new Silly Street players out there, whether you received the game as a gift or gave one, or both! We appreciate you and are so thrilled you are a part of our growing family. ⚡️⚡️⚡️2018 has loads in store for you. We have a big announcement that we will be making this week. But just wanted to take this moment to say hello, and that we are grateful for YOU. ❤️ Happy Monday. Photo by the inimitable @jessicajalexander Funny rabbit or squirrel or...?? By Bodhi.
This is a simple and powerful step that we can take each day. We cannot expect our kids to do better unless they know better. The same goes for adults. We see changes that need to be made. We grow, we learn, and we do better.
Recognizing when there's a better way to do something in your life shows a growth mindset. Is it the way you parent? The way you speak to your child? How you treat yourself? How you learn from mistakes? A growth mindset requires us to be flexible and resilient.
Maybe your child is struggling in a particular area in her life. How can you work with her to view this problem as an opportunity to do better? Perhaps you can share a time when you went through a change and came out stronger on the other side.
What does knowing better and doing better mean to you?
So...3 days ago I had a seizure while sleeping (that’s only happened a few times) and fell out of the bed. The top-knot, bruise and road rash are the result of my tumble. THAT isn’t the point tho-the point is my embarrassment over the bruise and bump. I’ve been mortified and haven’t wanted to leave the house..Chris keeps trying to make me feel better by calling me his “Unicorn” 🦄...what I’ve come to understand and embrace is I’m the EXACT same person with the knot as I am when I don’t have one. My seizures (like the result of them) DON’T DEFINE or LIMIT ME. Period. It process simply builds character and illustrates my perseverance. Seizures are what I live with-not what I am. (Plus, my whole face could be a bruise...with two black eyes like I lost a fight...at least I look like a winner. 🙌🏽 💃🏽 #epilepsyawareness#epilepsywarrior#stronger#characterbuilding#bruisesmakemelooktough
