The second day with the #indien delegation was very rich.
We left #Paris in the morning for #Chartres.
80km of road and we are there.
First we visited the gothic #Cathedral#Notre_Dame_de_Chartres.
The guided tour was made by a very knowledgeable guide #Victoria_Gonichon
With her stories she made the place alive, after her visit every one from the groupe could read a #stained_glass_window and those of #Chartres are special because of their age #13th c. and because of their blue color that gave birth to #Bleu_de_Chartres color.
The majestic building shows the gothic religious architecture evolution through the stones of different centuries.
Today the cathedral is a monument of the entire humanity.
After this guided tour we enjoyed a delicious lunch to the one #Michelin_star restaurant #Grand_Monarque in the private salon #Henri_IV. The chef cooker #Nicolas_Mendes cooked a #vegetarian lunch that was very appreciated by the delegation.
In the afternoon we walked in the city center and then took the way back to Paris.
This little escape was wonderful!
