"The leg of an old ladder gives away... and an old man falls. There's blood all over the ground... but a Son is around.
He runs to his father's cry for help... only to find him lying face down. He tells him everything is going to be alright... Just hang in there Dad with all your might. The old man's tough... so he gains his breath and gets to his feet. His Son helps him get into his truck right down the street. Hang in there Dad we are almost there... His Son keeps him talking so he knows he's there. They arrive at the hospital real quick... the medics run out and say "don't worry Son, you did good, we got it from here". The doctors came and stitched his head. They take x-rays and said "his head is good, but his shoulder is all messed up. He's gonna have to stay, so go home for the night." The Father says "Go on home Son, get some rest... you've done your best." The Son is feeling blessed. The doctors reassure "You can sleep well tonight, because Son, you just saved your Father's life."
A #poem from my heart of a very recent tragedy that occurred while my father and I were working together..

This series from @finehomebuilding is awesome! Proud to say I know Tyler (@trghomeconcepts) and consider him a friend. There is nothing fake about this dude and his passion for his craft is only 2nd to his passion and love for his family. Gotta respect that! A couple of months ago we sat down with @trghomeconcepts for our latest “Why I Build” series. We talked about what he does, why he does it and followed him for a day on his latest kitchen remodel. Tyler deserves all of the attention he gets these days. He has spent years honing his carpentry skills and is relentlessly focused on doing the best work he can. You can see that in his feed everyday. So what were we really doing there? As a culture we feel there aren’t enough opportunities to look into the work and lives of true tradesmen and women. We want people to understand why the people working on their homes do what they do. We want all of those in the field to be respected and to be valued, and we want everyone who is heading off to a job site today to know that they’re understood and supported. This 10 part series are your stories. Thank you, Tyler, for helping us in this effort. Happy Monday everyone and Go Dawgs! 🏈
As we’ve grown over the last few years and have been taking on more orders, it’s been important for us to find new ways to stay organized and efficient at our shop. One change we’ve made that we’ve been really happy with is putting most of our tables on wheels! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This saves on a lot of time and manpower. It’s easy for one of us to roll heavy projects around, it streamlines the build process, helps in sorting wood for tables, and allows us to accommodate different jobs quickly because we can reconfigure the shop easily, not to mention it makes it much easier to clean up at the end of the day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How do you keep your business efficient and organized?
