I blend up some of the beans to create a creamier consistency.

Here's a bunch of cardio I keep forgetting to post! 😆💕💕I've been changing up the way I've been doing cardio since starting my cutting season. It's honestly really tempting to give into just doing a fuck ton of cardio (like 2 or 3 hours a day, which is what I did the first time I lost weight), but I'm not gonna do it. Not gonna give in. (Who here loves BOTH weightlifting AND cardio? 🙋♀️🙋♀️There's this widespread belief that you can only enjoy one 😒😒) As for how my cutting season is going/how it's different than what I was doing before--Now, I'm carb cycling. Cardio-wise, I switch my daily sessions between fasted HIIT on the treadmill and steady state on the elliptical. 20 mins max. On top of that, I'm still doing my 2 hour weight training sessions every day + an abs session later on in the evening.

I know, it’s been awhile since I shared food lol. I ate this today when I broke my 16 hour fast; an egg scrambled with some mozz, green onion, and threw Serrano pepper and tomato on the side, turkey sausage links. Yoga has always been my weakness and my pain point for training. I know it’s so important to be well rounded, but I’ve always been a weight and plyometric girl. However, I’ve seen my body change drastically ever since I incorporated yoga into my training. @cekerris at @sweatlex is the real deal. I still have a long long long way to go, but I’m getting there 😉.
I DID IT WORLD!!! I took the classic baking powder biscuit and turned them into #mutantnation chocolate peanut butter PROTEIN banana baking powder biscuits instead by a few scientific tweaking here and there 👩🏽🍳👩🏽🔬...AND OH MY THEY ARE MOIST AND HEAVENLY! I was very hesitant about experimenting with this recipe but they turned out better than my dreams! What a week it’s been, friends. One that I’m very happy to put behind me. But let me tell you, I definitely did NOT want to go workout today and do a full body day... not one ounce of me had a desire today. I am being tested on many fronts right now and it’s so hard to look at these trials and hurts as something that will BUILD my faith. Instead, I want to self sabotage. I want to sit on the couch, eat a huge bowl of icecream... and maybe a big fat brownie... and then add in some fresh baked cookies. I want to sit and eat while soaking in my sorrow. I want to throw in the towel with everything and say forget it all. So believe me when I say, I DID NOT WANT TO WORKOUT TODAY. But as I sat in church this morning, I was reminded, yet again, that Jesus has a bigger and better plan than I could ever imagine possible. And that will be mine if I let it and trust Him.
So instead of self sabotaging my health goals today (of which I would regret later), I got up and hit the gym for our full body workout. Because I am not going to let Satan get the best of me. And because I made a commitment to myself AND all my amazing clients to get my workouts in since I expect them to do the same. My hope is to inspire someone out there to do the same ❤️

It's #TransformationTuesday and I love seeing progress photos from my clients! This, my friends, is after ONLY TWO weeks!!!!!
Yep! Only two weeks in to my fat loss bootcamp!
When we are looking at changes in ourselves, we tend to not see what others see. So, as a trainer, I love seeing progress photos in able to point out the changes that may go unseen to my clients.
In this two week progress, I see a ton more muscle definition in her shoulders, biceps and upper back. I see a slimmer mid-section with more oblique definition. I also see a huge difference in her thighs. In my eyes, this is INCREDIBLE progress after only two weeks of consistent exercise and intentional nutrition.
Congrats girl! Can't wait to see the change in two more weeks!!!
I challenge you all to look for those NON SCALE victories that you encounter day in and day out. Focusing on the positive will help so much with developing a healthy mindset around your health and wellness goals. Warning: Long post‼️ Very embarrassed by the picture on the left but just ONE MONTH ago that’s what I looked like. It was brought to my attention that I was on the very low end of a totem poll of fit and not fit so I did something about it. I received a groupon for boxing for the month of January and have loved every second of it. Along with changing up my workout routine, I have been counting macros again and started the keto diet. I feel so much healthier. I’ve always worked out about six days a week and watched what I’ve eaten, but with a sit down job now my body is definitely changing. I don’t believe that anyone should tell you your fat or body shame you, but try to use it as motivation if it happens. Everybody’s body is different and we all have to adjust accordingly! There will be ups and downs but excited to get even more toned and for better results! (Sorry for the long post)
We made the yummiest chicken last night (inspired by a recipe from @delish)! It tasted like a crust-less pizza! Check out my insta stories for a step by step! ----- You make like 5 slices in the chicken - just make sure you don't cut all the way through- and then you add zucchini, peppers and onions inside the slices, add cheese on top, season and stick it in the oven or on the grill! This is #keto friendly all the way! It was so so good!
